Free Music Review: Huge Linkin Park Fan
Hit: 4 Stars

im not under 13 i just dont want to become a member. linkin park has to be my favorite band. they seriously need a new album though. hybrid theory was an excellent album and the remix reanimation was to. meteora was also good. collision course was great but to much rap and not enough rock. the DVD is awesome. (BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!)

Free Music Review: The Big LP Strikes Again
Hit: 5 Stars

Well, it's me again: the infamous (heh, heh) supporter of everything that is, and will be, Linkin Park- here to extol the virtues of this rock-fest of a CD... OK, screw the act. At the end of 2003, Linkin Park released this CD of their live act in, where else, Texas. This CD is everything that a live CD should be- and more. Why?
1) Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda, and the rest of them sound absolutely awesome on the CD.
2) All the best songs from Hybrid Theory ( Papercut, In The End, etc.) and a few from Meteora (Lying From You, Somewhere I Belong) are on here.
3) Despite the absence of Taproot's Stephen, the live version of "P5hng Me A*wy" sounds so (emphasis on "so") much better on this CD than on Reanimation (a very pleasant surprise, considering that I actually loved the Reanimation version).
4) The bonus DVD contains more songs than are featured on the CD and the additional songs are very welcome.
Considering Linkin Park's phenomenal success over the past few years, I wouldn't be surprised if they are here to stay- and become household names in the world of rock.
Overall album rating: 100% and a 10 out of 5.

Free Music Review: Excellent product.

One of the best CD's I own. It has excellent live music and an excellent concert on DVD.

Free Music Review: Good, Live CD
Hit: 4 Stars

For a live album, Linkin Park does a very good job. Yes the music and vocals are not as good as they are in the recording studio, but I have yet to listen to one artist who is as good live as they are in the studio. I am a big music fan as well as a Linkin Park fan, and so far, Linkin Park is the best live music I have ever heard. The music on this album is from Meteora and Hybrid Theory (and one song from Reanimation; they used the remixed version of Pushing me Away from Reaniamtion rather than the version on Hybrid Theory, a wise decision) and they do a good job during the live performance. Chester gives 110% during the concert. If you get the DVD with the CD, you will get more songs, which is a good deal, although Linkin Park is not exactly the most exciting group to watch, but they make up for that with their loads of talent. Overall good album by a very good group loaded with talent.

Free Music Review: An Eye Opener...
Hit: 3 Stars

When I bought this CD a year ago, I was really surprised. LP sounds way different live than they do on their studio albums. The guitar sounds different, not in a positive or negative way, but Chester's voice is a different story. Don't take me wrong, LP is my favourite band, but Chester's voice sounds really weak and kind of high-pitched, compared to his voice in the studio albums. It especially comes out bad in Somewhere I Belong and Lying from You. The DJ's scratching comes out a tad too strong too. This album definetely isn't all bad. The Pushing me Away remix and With You are really good here, in my opinion, even better than on their original albums. Numb, In the End and Crawling are also pretty good. In all, this is a decent album for maybe the bigger fans of Linkin Park. I wouldn't recommend this for a "new" fan of LP. And to all the people who think Linkin Park is just a group of mainstream sellouts with no talent, actually listen to LP or at least stop writing reviews just to trash them. Linkin Park is mainstream, but they aren't sellouts and they do have talent.
