Free Music Review: They Suck As Much Live
Hit: 1 Stars

I used to be exactly like The Blind Crow. I used to like Linkin Park. Now I realize that they have ripped off Machine Head, a kick-ass metal band. Here's something for you to do:

If you want to get off your ass:

1. Go to a record store nearby
2. Look under the "M" section
3. Buy Machine Head's "Hellalive"
4. Buy Linkin Park's "Live In Texas" (used)
5. Listen to the two. Which one sounds better?

Here's a little something to do. If you think Machine Head is better than Linkin Park, click "yes" under "was this review helpful?". If you think Machine Head is a poser band ripping off Linkin Park, click "no".

Free Music Review: Linkin Park Live: What an experience!
Hit: 5 Stars

And all I can say is I am so happy and glad that I did purchase this twin set CD/DVD from Linkin Park on tour during 2003 with Limp Biskit and Metalica. 'Live In Texas' actually Dallas is a work of art and for any hardcore fan of Linkin Park this is the Digi-pack for you!

The first CD comprises of 12 audio tracks drawn from Linkin Park's first two albums 'Hybrid Theory' and 'Meteora'. There are no new song releases on this CD just a remix of Pushing Me Away (Track 8). The hits of 'Somewhere I belong' and 'Crawling' and 'One Step Closer' are included on this audio CD.

CD 2 is actually the DVD of the actual concert and it is filmed expertly and gets the band action full on as well as the crowd moshing and jumping to the music. What an exhilarating feeling. All in all there are 18 songs in the concert with live powerful performances of 'Faint', 'By Myself', 'Numb' and 'In the End'.

A must for any new or old fan of Linkin Park. I thoroughly enjoyed this feast of viewing pleasure to the senses.

Free Music Review: Linkin Parks newest suckfest.
Hit: 1 Stars

Ok so I used to be a Linkin Park freak (which I now greatly regret) but Ive finally outgrown them. They are for immature preteen kids who want to act all bad but their parents wont let them get cds with parental advisory. LOSERS! Ok on to actually reviewing the cd
So I got this cd back in the day when I actually liked them thinking "man this is gonna be so sweet" then I put in the cd player only to be bombarded by Chesters TERRIBLE vocals. He sounds like a dog with larengitis being run over. Not only that but their rythyms suck so bad live. Only to show you that the only reason they sound good is good studio work. And lets not remember that this cd has be refined from its original form which I can only imagine how atrocious that is. As for the dvd I have this to say...These guys cant put on a show. Their guitarist is too old to do anything, their drummer just sucks, and their two vocalists seriously need to get into the music more. The sweat wasnt even real. These guys get worse and worse by the minute.

Free Music Review: even when their live their awsome!
Hit: 5 Stars

linkin parks new cd live in texas is extreamily good plus their live so you can hear how they are without overlapping vocals and all that. you'd think that they would sound alot different and probably worse but you're wrong if you think that. their unbleavebly awsome! and if you heard meteora and hybrid theory but you want both of their songs on 1 cd this one is right for you! i think that there are no flaws at all. i recomend this cd for every one its....well....perfect! ~taylor~

Free Music Review: QUALITY live album, very impressive
Hit: 4 Stars

The first thing i want to do in this review is to take my hat off the the producer of this magnificent live album, it sounds great! If i listened to it and didn't hear the crowd in the background i would swear its a studio album!
The CD contains 12 favourites which all sound superb live (except for the chorus in "Faint" which is a shame coz its my fav LP song, but "Papercut" sounds so good it makes up for it). The DVD is much the same but has a few more songs and you get tho see the Linkin Park crew in action. Just a shame the crowd doesn't really go off (they're mainly there to see the Mettalica concert which is next!), but there still appears to be a good number LP fans among them.

As said previously the tracks all sound GREAT it would just be a matter of opinion which song is the best (although "Papercut" sounds better live than the studio recording). P.S. be sure to listen to the instrumental song "Session" by DJ Hahn that plays in the credits, it's truly amazing!

This is an essential buy for all LP fans, although you probably wouldn't buy it if you weren't already. But even if you're new to LP its actually a good CD to start on because you hear a good variety of songs from the "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora" albums. Overall extremely impressed. Peace out.

P.S. If you're more into the hip-hop/rap side of Likin Park check out "Reanimation". This LP's "Hybrid Theory" album remixed with some of underground hip-hop's biggest names such as Black Thought from The Roots, Charli 2na from Jurassic 5, and Pharaohe Monch from Organised Konfusion, and kicks a$$ over the "Collision Course" CD/DVD with Jay-Z.
