Does this craptacular band think they're metal? With lyrics like, "Don't stay. Forget our memories. Forget our possibillities," and, "I'm tired of being what you want me to be," are emo not metal. With an inaudible bass, annoying as hell lead vocalist, and a terrible guitarist this band are more Limp Bizkit wannabe than new metal gods. Here's more suggested listening:

Linkin Park are officially the leaders of Nu-Metal today, there music's just so unique to the rest of the junk we got out there now a days. But anyway this album may sound like hybrid theory, but still! Hybrid Theory was awesome!! So whats so bad about that? The best tracks on this album are:-
Lying From You - Awesome! Great lyrics, The actual track gives a spooky affect to it, but all the more a awesome track!
Easier To Run - This track is a incredible track. It gives your head a rest, and probably stops the throbbing, it's also a spooky track, the lyrics are irreplaceable, amazing!
Faint - Altogether the best track on the CD, With lyrics like this, this was a awesome track!! The actual beat is incredible this type of music replaces everything!
Breaking The Habit - Incredible, Awesome, Fantastic, What more can I say about this song? The actual song is sung by Chester completely, no rap, but still, one of the best songs on this CD! And the videos pretty awesome to! Check them both out!
From The Inside - What More Can I Say? Awesome!
The rest are pretty cool to, but there my favorite tracks! But this is just my review, check this out! All together, if Amazon could let me give this review a higher mark then, I'd take it, but this album is off it's top! Linkin Park Are Legends!!

Free Music Review: not the best, but still pretty good

I like to listen to this album occasionally. some of the songs are a bit annoying at times, but really, I am a person who is easily annoyed by things.
1. Foreword - this is just an introduction. I can't remember quite what it sounds like at the moment, but it was ok.
2. Don't Stay - at first, I didn't care for this song. but it grew on me a bit. I would give it a 7/10 because it is somewhat annoying.
3. Somewhere I Belong - the rapping part, at first, annoyed me. I had to get used to it. I really do like the chorus though. 7/10
4. Lying From You - I like this song quite a bit 8/10
5. Hit The Floor - I didn't really care for the rapping part at first, but now I enjoy this song a lot. I love the way he sings the song in the chorus. especially when he shouts "the very worst part of me, is you" 9.5/10
6. Easier To Run - I don't like this song really at all. 5/10
7. Faint - I LOVE this song. it is really catchy. though, I think they could have done better on the music video. but I'm not here to talk about the videos, right? just the cds.. 10/10
8. Figure.09 - I can't remember what this song was at the moment.
9. Breaking The Habit - I really do like this song a lot, but it does kind of get annoying after a while. I listen to this song every 'once in a while,' that way it sounds better than when you listen to it every day. 8/10
10. From The Inside - I don't really care about this song either. 6/10
11. Nobody's Listening - I can't remember what song this was at the moment.
12. Session - is this the one where it's more of an instrumental? if so, I enjoy listening to this one a lot. the different sounds are pleasing to my ears. 10/10
13. Numb - this song is like breaking the habit in a way. I wouldn't listen to it every day, or it would make me want to slam my head into a wall. 8/10
I reccomend buying this cd. if you are not a fan of music that involves 'screaming,' then you might not want to buy this. then again, you might totally hate that kind of music, and 'still' like this cd anyways.
the following part has to do with me complaining about a lot of people who are reviewing on here, so if you don't want to look, then don't:

no, this band is not the best band ever. but they are pretty good. I don't even know what the term "nu-metal" means, but oh well. I don't go around all the time saying "omg, nu-metal? what the crap, that stuff is crap!" I don't spend my time saying "oh. this is goth. this is punk. this is metal. this is poser stuff" or anything like that. INSTEAD, I 'LISTEN' to the 'music.' I don't spend my time labeling it.
to those who say "anybody who listens to linkin park needs to grow up" needs to grow up themselves. people have 'different' opinions about music. and a lot of people on here who use the 'under 13' space to write a review are NOT under 13. they just don't have accounts, and still want to review. I am 15..
oh, and stop telling people what bands they "should" listen to. they might not have the same interests as you, so buzz off.
I have one more thing that I want to complain about. those of you who are giving short reviews like:
"omigod I hate linkin park, this is garbage, listen to these bands instead" need to be more specific. some one who looks at that kind of review is not going to take it seriously. now, if you were to say something like "I don't like this because they do this and really I think that this part is a little bit off" are the reviews that should be considered.

Linkin park is the best band ever and this is their second best cd ever.Every song is edgey and hardcore and they are tourted artests that can feel my pain.I reccomend buying this album and many other edgey hardcore artests like Korn,Limpbizkit,Good charollte and Simple plan,My chemical romance,and Green day.
