Free Music Review: LP never ceases to amaze :o)

No matter what all of you say, to me Linkin Park are GENIOUSES. No song of theirs was/is ever bad. There's sense in every melody and in every word they play/sing. I LOVE LP!!! The Shadow of the Day is GORGEOUS, beautiful, amazing :o) I'm in eternal love with Chester's voice ... They're very original and unlike any other band I've ever seen/heard. They're unique. They're LP :o)
Just because their new album is a bit different from what they've traditionally done in the past, does NOT mean it's any worse. I actually LOVE Minutes to Midnight :o) Change doesn't necessarily have to mean something negative. Change should be welcome and is often for the better :o) Yes, the album does sound much "calmer" compared to their previous albums, but ... so what? It's still great. And the lyrics are exceptional in this album - "Leave Out All The Rest" lyrics are particularly striking. This song is so beautiful both in lyrics and melody. Also, love "Little Things Give You Away" plus "What I've Done". And ... I actually adore EVERY single song on that album, to be honest :o)

Free Music Review: Not what i expected, but Genius

This album is unlike any Linkin Park album to date. With less rap and heavy metal rifts, and more meloncholy, sophistocated lyrics, melodies, and messages. They make some powerful political statements with their anti-war song "hands held high", and their song "shadow of the day" explores the inner termoil most of us can relate to, in regards to difficult relationships or other situations.
This album, while not what i expected, is perhaps my favorite Linkin Park album to date. Perhaps its that im growing up, and i myself am more concerend about whats going on in this world. Or perhaps its that this album hit some subjects neer and dear to my heart. But this album makes a statement, and takes a stand, take it or leave it, Linkin Park has a point of view, and a voice to put it out there in your face.

To me this album has a common thread. Isolation.Whether that's loneliness as a person or a country.There is unrequited love in all it's various forms. Taken as a whole this album works well. The whole is stronger than it's individual tracks. Well worth your hard earned scheckels.
