Free Music Review: When I designed this rhyme I was scared of it all...
Hit: 5 Stars

1. Opening- 5-5 an amazing opening to the album, musically takes you to the point your mind needs to be at to listen to this album.
2. Pts. Of Athrty- 4-5 well it'd be higher if it wasn't for the fact that that lyrics aren't really anything new and it's just some beats in the background but what it doesn't have there it makes up with the video and the actual greatness that linkin park bring to every track.
3. Enth E Nd - 5-5 Kutmasta Kurt/Motion Man One of my favorite tracks on the album and with good reason. Some really good reinterpetted lyrics and some good guest appearances.
4. Chali- uhh well it's kinda just a simple phone message. but a good lead in.
5. Frgt/10 - 5-5 Alchemist/Chali 2na- ill track with some really good new lyrics.
6. P5hng Me A*wy - 10-5 Mike Shinoda/Stephen Richards- ok this is without question my favorite track on the album. Stephen Richards lyrics are ill and mike does an amazing job with everything too. Might be a little biased because i'm a huge taproot fan (WELCOME).
7. Plc.4 Mie Haed - 5-5 Amp Live/Zion Of Zion I- SWEET!, the new lyrics and the guests are great. the beats are really sweet on it too.
8. X-ecutioner Style 5-5 X-Ecutioners/Black Thought XECUTIONERS are great and do a good job on this track.
9. H! Vltg3 - 3-5 Evidence/DJ Babu/Pharoahe Monch ok let me explain the logic behind this rating... well THE DAMN PIANO IN THE BACKGROUND WHY WHY WHY. I was looking forward to this track the most because high voltage was my favorite old track and with evidence and monch on the track i couldn't see how they could go wrong but they added the piano so i can barely listen to it but when u can get past that it's a great track.
10. Riff Raff- whatever another talky thingy
11. Wth>You - 5-5 Chairman Hahn/Aceyalone- COME ONNNNNNNNN... thats a great opening and reminds me of the time i got to see these guys live. Ill song and good remix by the hahn
12. Ntr/Mssion- cool lead in i guess
13. PPr:Kut - 5-5 Cheapshot/Jubacca/Rasco/Planet Asia- awesome beat and background and new lyrics... also guests are great.
14. Rnw@y - 5-5 Backyard Bangers/Phoenix Orion I love the lead in here. Pretty sweet but the whole song is great.
15. My{Dsmbr- 4-5- hey it'd be a classic on any other remix album is just a beat in back of the lyrics.
16. Stef- TAPROOT
17. By_Myslf 5-5 Josh Abraham/Mike Shinoda/Stephen Carpenter- Josh Abraham i think is the guy who did Faith/fame on the Bizkit Remix album? but that was the best track on that record and this song holds its own.
18. Kyur4 Th Ich - 4-5Chairman Hahn- Wasn't a great song to begin with but Hahn saves it from being a loss.
19. 1stp Klosr - 6-5 The Humble Brothers/Jonathan Davis SECOND FAVORITE TRACK and Jon Davis rules end of story.
20. Krwlng -5-5 Mike Shinoda/Aaron Lewis - Great Ending

As I have displayed this album is well worth the buy and despite being great songs by themselves they play even better in sequence because it is such a great mix. Lovin' the Park right now. Also check Taproot as i said above. Late

Free Music Review: Linkin Park Comes Up With A Powerful Performance!
Hit: 5 Stars

Right at the 'Opening', where you here this warm, thoughtful piece that features Phoenix (LP's bassist) on violin and cello with some piano at the end you know that this will be a unique experience. Heres a rundown of the other songs:

Pts of Athrty - A fresh new sound that is more aggressive and is much improved from the original!

Enth E End - Very cool beat taken from the piano at the start of the original In The End! M. Shinoda provided cool new lyrics and Motion Man also had a verse of his own....

Frgt/10 - At the start there is a beat then a violin with the chorus but then drives into a rap with heavy bass accompanied by Shinoda's cutting lyrics. Chali 2na also has a very affective verse. The one part that comes after the chorus in Forgotten is warped with terrible voice that is one of the few flaws on the album.

P5hing Me A*way - Starts out very powerful, then slows down until it starts rising to the climax of the song with a very emotional and terrific chorus! Well Done!

Plce 4 Mie Haed - Kind of a techno beat at the start but then gets into focus with a good rap and its basically the same lyrics after that except for the verse with Zion.

X-ecutioners Style - Starts with scratches and bits from Forgotten and One Step Closer, and Black Thought provides the lyrics.

H! Vltg3 - Very cool beat and great lyrics from Shinoda! Also Pharoah Monch was great and his rhymes were excellent! One of the better tracks!

WITH>YOU - Starts out with a fresh riff and Bennington screaming (really cool start)then goes into the verses and choruses which are about the same. Then you get a rap thats very reflecting and finishes with a piano tune...

PPR:KUT - Pretty cool beat, but kind of wierd. Good lyrics from Shinoda and the rappers and a good bridge modified from Papercut't original one.

Runaw@y- Not bad, and the first verse is lame, but finishes quite well. Harder than the original.

MY>DCMBR - Cool start with the piano but its quite different from any other song and its more R&B but Bennington has a great voice...Remixed badly though...

By_Myslf - Really cool and original song. The guitars where excellent and the song overall was great!

KYUR4 Th Ich - Starts out with a warped but familiar beat with extra sounds added in... Near the end it sounds like the scratches from the Pop Tarts commercial! Listen to it, its very close! It ends with a accented voice saying 'Mr. Hahn' (you no Mr. Bond?)

1Stp Klosr - It takes 2 minutes to really start the song but it was great! Korn's Jonathan Davis provided a verse and backing vocals at the end! Great!

Krwling- The last (and its fitting) and the end to the CD. It starts with the strings from the Opening and it carries that throughout the song. There are clips from Crawling, then a warped xylophone tune from Crawling then goes to Aaron Lewis who was fantastic. He did the chorus and backed up Bennington on the other Choruses! They screwed up his voice in the verses with effects that is the other flaw in the CD...

Just AMAZING, you HAVE to get it! They are true music geniuses!

Free Music Review: Underground Rising!
Hit: 5 Stars

This album, in my mind, is without a doubt, Linkin Park's best album. They experiment more with a hip-hop/hard rock cross that comes off with a very original style, worthy of recognition. I myself am a hard-core fan of underground hip-hop, not the ridiculous rap you hear more than often on the radio, but the clever, positive messages that intertwine their way through the master wordplay of a talented emcee. Oddly enough, "Reanimation" showcases some of the most talented underground emcees, backed with EXACTLY the potent, emotional production and melodies they need to showcase their talent. This is rap, rock, and music in general at it's very best.

Linkin Park actually doesn't need any help in the production area of things, but even so, just to be absolutely sure they prove that they will not be musically outdone, the sophomore rock group recruits the talented Kutmasta Kurt, Alchemist and Evidence, among others. I suppose this is needed, since this is technically a remix album, though I can see Linkin Park handling this aspect of the album without any help.

Linkin Park's emcee is very talented, all by himself, however, he has one of those voices that needs variety to counter-act him. His lyrics are strong and his flow is fluent, he just needs a different sound to break the monotony of his flow on every track. Linkin Park does a superb job of balancing the chemistry of this album. Track 5, "FRGT/10" is one of the best cuts on the whole CD, the original Linkin Park track being remixed by talented Alchemist. Lyrically, however, Chali2Na stands out like a floodlight in the dark. If only his verse was a little longer! Track 5 is nowhere near the only worthy track on this CD. Track 9, although lyrically very odd (seeing as it focuses largely on X-Men type of superpower), is a genius cut. Linkin Park this time calls in the talented rhyme and production masters of Dilated Peoples, Evidence and DJ Babu. That's not the end of it though. The grand finale is easily Pharoah Monch's magic touch on the track, courtesy of my favorite record label, Rawkus.

Finally, we make our way to the BEST track of the CD. 13.) "PPR:KUT", remixed by Cheapshot and Jubacca, featuring the underground master emcees Rasco and Planet Asia. They blow every other song on this record out of the water, adapting their flow to Linkin Park's cryptic, dark, and emotional sound with lines like "Now it feels/like my back's against the wall/I'm taking the fall/Whenver I call/nobody's responding at all/But I don't know who I can trust/they're screaming my name/I need somebody to help me out of the flame." When written down, these rhymes may not be terribly impressive, but the passionate delivery that accompanies them makes them great.

Overall, I recommend this CD to anyone who admires good musicianship, anybody with versatile tastes in music, and any fans of good rock or hip-hop. A very, very solid showcase of Linkin Park's talent, as well as the overlooked skills buried in the underground hip-hop market.

Free Music Review: Reanimation is even better...WAY better
Hit: 5 Stars

WOW...I got this CD and was just FLOORED at how much DIFFERENT this CD was than Hybrid Theory. This is not just songs with a new rap or a different bridge...These are brand new songs with different beats and different lyrics and AMAZING guest spots. Ever better than the original!

1. Opening - I love the violins here in the open and in the close...very serene and just set the tone. Linkin Park is such a unique band that plays on every facet of music...very talented band

2. Pts. Of Athrty (Feat. Jay Gordon of Orgy) - I was not a fan of the original, but this is one awsome song...Orgy did good.

3. Enth E Nd (Feat Kutmasta Kurt & Motion Man) - I hated In The End as well, and as much as I think this is a supperior version it's still one of the weakest on the CD

4. Chali - An intro, Chali on the tellie

5. Frgt/10 (Feat. Alchemist & Chali 2na) - GREAT SONG, darker than the original, real gangsta :P

6. P5hng Me A*wy (Feat. Stephen Richards of Taproot) - Awsome...I did feel that the chorus was a little lacking...I would have aranged it a little different so that Chester souded slightly more melodic...

7. Plc.4 Mie Haed (Amp Live Remix Feat Zion Of Zion I) - One of the best on the album...perfect song and a great club song

8. X-ecutioner Style (X-Ecutioners Feat. Black Thought) - I love it, just wish it weren't edited

9. H! Vltg3 (Feat. Evidence, DJ Babu & Pharoahe Monch) - Hate it

10. Riff Raff - Another teliphone message

11. Wth>You (Feat. Chairman Hahn & Aceyalone) - Great reinvisionment of this song. I kinda like the origional a little better, but I'm a little pregudice there.

12. Ntr/Mssion - Just as the name says, just an intermission

13. PPr:Kut (Feat. Rasco & Planet Asia) - LOVE IT, Planet Asia has one of the coolest rap voices...he just nails it here

14. Rnw@y (Feat. Backyard Bangers & Phoenix Orion) - One of the best songs here

15. My{Dsmbr - The original is MUCH BETTER!!!

16. Stef - Another tele message

17. By_Myslf (Remixed by Josh Abraham & Mike Shinoda Feat. Stephen Carpenter of The Deftones) - Close to my favorite song here...I listen to this ALL THE TIME!!! Great song and way better than the origional!!!

18. Kyur4 Th Ich - Just some mad DJin skills here...like the predesesson just longer

19. 1stp Klosr (The Humble Brothers Remix Feat. Jonathan Davis of KoRn) - AWSOME...FLAWLESS...GREAT TRIBUTE TO A GREAT FIRST SINGLE

20. Krwlng (Feat. Aaron Lewis of Staind) - The best on the CD...Easily my favorite Linkin Park song ever...And this version is just another awsome song...they are great rivals for the top... My only regret is that Aaron Lewis doesn't sing as much as I'd like him too...Screw Chester, let Aaron sing the song...

Awsome...
Buy it!
