Lionel Richie, has always been a favorite artist of mine. He broke out in the 1980's as a solo artist, before that he was with the very successful group "The Commordores". On this album, you will find all of Lionel's greatest solo hits. My all time favorite from this album is "You Are". I remember hearing that track on the radio back in the day and still sound great today. No one makes music like they used to. I'm glad someone comes up with these Definitive Collections to listen to what was once great music. This album also includes other standout tracks such as Truly,Endless Love,Hello,Easy,Three Time A Lady,and many many more. The only little flaw, I am not showing the song "Love Will Conquer On", that was a Top 10 hit and also a masterpeice. I am surprised it is not included in this collection. Besides that song, this is a great collection from Lionel Richie.Free Music Review: Made me feel young again!! Great music

Last night I saw Lionel Richie in concert and he was phenomenal. It helps when you have a repetoir like his. He is one of the best songwriters out there and after all of the years, he's still getting it done. His ballads are stunning and the faster songs are contagious.
Here, I'd say my favourites are Running With The Night, Hello, Still and Stuck On You. Actually, there are more but I don't want to bore you. He has such a smooth and silky voice and is very, very talented. You have to get this cd if you are a fan of his and you must, must, must check him out in concert too if you are so fortunate to have him visit your town. I love him and easily give this five stars.

This is a fine collection of the best of the best of Lionel Richie. I had forgotten how rich and mellow many of his biggest hits were. " Dancing on the Ceiling" was on of the best party records you could spin at any party! Every song brings back a flood of fun and you know the words. This is well worth owning.
