Free Music Review: Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes, Rest In Peace!

WOW! That's all I can say. This album was different from any other rap LP ever. Lisa always had a true gift with words which she didn't hold back on her solo album, Supernova. The song 'The Universal Quest' actually had me in tears because it makes you think a lot about life. And the song she did with her fiance' Andre Rison 'Rags To Riches' was like a chapter out of the book of the life of Lisa Nicole Lopes. As was 'Let Me Live'. She also explores the dramas of love in 'True Confessions'. I have to say I've fallen in love with every song. I just wish Lisa had lived to read my words. She will never be forgotton. Her legacy will live on. I'd also like to offer my condolences to T-Boz, Chilli, and all of Lisa's family and friends. She has truly been an angel among us. And now she's making music with the real angels. Rest in peace Lisa, I'll always love you.Free Music Review: Supernova is Fantastic!!!!!!!!!

The CD is a must buy!!!!! Many of the reviews above have already said it so well (those that gave Supernova a 5 star review, that is, which I'm happy to say is the majority). Every song on Lisa's incredible solo cd tells a story. And she has great beats and raps not only with amazing words, but with total heart and soul. I love all the songs but Life Is Like A Park, The Block Party, Jenny, Let Me Live, Untouchable, The Universal Quest, A Star Is Born are my faves, but the other songs are not far behind. The instrumentations are inventive and wonderful, the guest solos are perfect and the humor and/or pathos is irrestible. Lisa, what a beautiful artist and free spirit you are! This recording was a labor of love and it shows. We love you and miss you every day - we grieve your passing, but if there's a heaven, I'll see you in the sweet by and by...Free Music Review: Wow.

Although this CD got bad reviews- I don't know why. I love it. I think the reason many people did not like this CD was because it is a different Left Eye then we have come to know on TLC records. Although on many songs she is upbeat and fast, hardcore Left Eye we love- on many songs she is very deep and talks about thinks deeper than your average bling bling that everyone is talking about. Lisa bangs in the scene with tracks like HOT, showin she is here and she is, as it says- hot. Songs like I Believe in me, Let me Live, and many others are just GREAT songs. Many in the hip hop industry fans and artists alike have called Lisa Lopes the Female version of Tupac. While the two dated for time, he is also featured on this album. The two put a GREAT song together, UNTOUCHABLE. Which is simply what they both are. Great Album.

First of all R.I.P. Lisa "Left eye" Lopes...I'll miss you...I'm a TLC fan and I bought this album for this fact but I have to advise you: if you are waiting for songs like no scrubs, waterfalls, unpretty...don't buy it cause the whole album is hip-hop...I like hip-hop so I liked this album.Before you buy this album you should listen to some songs. Anyway I really like this album, I like hip-hop and I'm glad to listen to female rappers. She made a good job, you have to consider that it was her solo debut album...My favourites songs are: Hot!, Untouchable (feat 2pac), True confessions (I can swear this song would never be released in MTV, the lyrics are too real) , Rags to riches and Jenny.So if you like hip-hop buy this album, and if you don't like hip-hop this album could be a good beginnig...Free Music Review: This is a Hip-Hop Album
