Free Music Notes for Little Shop of Horrors (2003 Broadway Revival Cast)Free Music Review: Fun Fun Fun Hit: 5 Stars
I love this musical...but then again I should, I spent 3 months working on it my sophomore year in high school. I played a semi-lead role, but it wasn't an original character I played Mrs. Mushnik a crazy yeddish wife, with my not-so-crazy Husband-- which was so much fun to do. My directors just changed the script a bit so I'd get to sing Mushnik `n Son, Closed for Renovation...and a few others. The Broadway CD really helped our whole cast really get to know the words to the music because we used the same script with minor changes. Its great and I loved it. I will always remember the success we had with this musical.
Free Music Review: i love it!!! u SHOULD too!! Hit: 5 Stars
i saw this on broadway in new york like it should be done. and it was worth every minute. i saw it with a wonderfully coy seymor, a belting audrey, and a jerk of a dentist. the casting was perfect. i couldn't have done it better my self. audrey two was sly and manipulative like a teenage girl trying to get what she wants. it was brillant. and there's a surprize ending! THIS IS A MUST SEE FOR U BROADWAY GOERS. this was a treat for the eyes and ears. don't wait. buy this now and learn the songs before u go. it's a thrill!don't feed the plants, SPunKY
Free Music Review: Great cast Doug Sills steals the show! Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is fabulous, while this Audrey isn't nearly as good as Ellen Greene this cast is fabulous. Especially the amazing Douglas Sills as Orin and a host of extra characters. His vocal ability is amazing and the different voices he does are so funny! The bounus tracks are wonderful, I have the 4 cd set of their demos for the Disney work they did and it is always a joy to hear Howard and Alan working on their music....almost a show in and of itself. I've only seen the movie but this CD is a marvelous version of the original show.
Free Music Review: Great Soundtrack, lots of offer that will please any Little Shop fan! Hit: 5 Stars
I am a huge fan of Little Shop, and I can't just stand by and let these people bash the revival soundtrack because they are movie purists! The movie was wonderful and the soundtrack for that was great, but this revival is the real deal! We all loved Rick Moranis, and Hunter Foster pulls off an amazing job as Seymour, and the rest of the cast balances perfectly! I would recommend this album to any musical theater fan, and it has been playing on my iPod quite frequently since I got it! Enjoy and remember Don't Feed the Plants!!
Free Music Review: A Kids Review: It is awsome Hit: 5 Stars
Okay, first off, let me say this, it is totally awsome. But in suddenly Seymour Audreys voice goes so low. I really don't understand why in the movie they didn't have Now(its just the gas), i mean, come on, it is an awsome song. The finale for both act one and two are awsome. Now why cant they go back onto a broadway america tour. By the way, dont get the off broadway cd because seymours voice is so nasaly. And if you want ellen greene, get the movie, she is in it.
