(these reviews are all just personal opinions.....not meant to argue with other reviews) I am a HUGE Bruce fan and love to follow his detours and experiements (Ghost Of Tom Joad is a masterpiece in my opinion). I own hundreds of shows from The Boss and I did see one show on the Seeger Sessions tour....amazing. However with this release, I think they picked a run of shows at the end of the tour.....the energy from the band is good...but I think they can tell, as you will, that the Boss is a little burnt out. Bruce gives 110 % live....so its not surprising, especially at the end of the tour, that you get tired. Listen to the BBC special from the spring before this Dublin CD was recorded and you will see and hear (especially in the vocals) the difference. I think they pick some decent stuff....but not as good as the extra live cuts on the expanded Seeger Sessions and somewhat of a let down. I don't blame the boss...maybe his manager wanted to keep the product out there. So if you are a Bruce head like me....either save your money or download a bootleg on line....or don't rush out to buy it. This is not his best live release by a long shot....nor is it something that you will hate.....its just kinda middle of the road. Of all the other reviews I've seen of this concert recording, H. Feifs is the only one who offers any perspective on Springsteen's recent phase. Bruce's voice just isn't suited to most of this material. He flattens out the melodies of the tradional songs by shouting them instead of singing them. And he sounds like he's losing his voice. He never had much range to begin with, but here he has even less than usual. I think the highlights of the concert are when the other singers are featured. The MUSICIANSHIP is good, but overall it sounds like a Pogues imitation. If you already own the "Seeger Sessions," you just don't need this.Free Music Review: Springsteen Dublin CD
