I was there on this wonderful evening and I am off to see Arlo again tomorrow night at the same venue (the Seymour Centre) with the same support act (Jodi Martin who is fabulous). I have seen Arlo on each of the four occasions (including tomorrow night) that he has performed in Sydney and each concert was as magical as this one. I was thrilled that he chose to record the evening in 2004 for release. As you will hear, it was a special night. Arlo's concerts are always fresh and fun and like kicking back at home with old friends. The entire album is brilliant but the track "Remembering Alice" is a clever, witty and warm monologue on why he isn't going to perform Alice's Restaurant. He really seems to like Australia and that suits us just fine. Whether you love Arlo Guthrie or just love folk music in general, your collection will not be complete until you grab a copy of this. Just brilliant !!!!
