Free Music Notes for Live at Texas Stadium

Free Music Review: This is a great CD
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been a fan of Jimmy Buffett most of my life, and George Strait for about the same, and grew to like Alan after Five O'clock.

This is a great CD if you enjoy these musicians. "Murder On Music Row" is a good old fashioned sounding country song and makes references I don't get to the business, but I understand the context.

"All My Ex's Live In Texas"...ah yes. Great song, and more fun with Buffett adding some spice to it. Great version.

"Sea Of Heartbreak" An undiscovered classic from Buffett. He knows its a good song, I know it is, and you will when you hear it.

"Margaritaville", "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere"....these had to be on there, and It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere is better live like this. Actually its better if you're in the arena...

A lot of good music, the show is very energetic and the songs fit together well. I highly recommend this disc.

Free Music Review: THREE FOR THE PRICE OF ONE
Hit: 5 Stars

If there was ever anything that could be called a sure thing it is this live recording from Texas Stadium that brings together individually, in duets and trios, a cowpoke, a country boy and a parrothead. George Strait, Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett are kindred spirits who have all worked together in the past and shine in the various combinations here.

This is a perfect, laid back, summertime tailgating outing. Nothing too serious, much tongue in cheek as the three headliners comprise the perfect mutual admiration society. Everyone one stage is having fun, the audience is having a good time as you will in the comfort of your home or your truck.

The stars came out to play and now all you need to complete the fun is some fried chicken, greasy burgers and beer and a pitcher of margaritas and count the days until summer.

Free Music Review: Splendid!
Hit: 5 Stars

I have to say this is one one of the most enjoyable CDs I have listened to. I am a big George Strait fan but had only listened to a little Buffet and virtually no Jackson. What a pleasant surprise! Of course, I love Cowboys Like Us, but I've played Designated Drinker, Five O'Clock Somewhere, and Where I Come From over and over and over. There' not a bad track on the disc. And you can't help but smile listening to how much fun these guys are having together. A friend of mine will be 50 tomorrow and I bought one for him for his birthday. Great!

Free Music Review: Alan Jackson, George Strait and Jimmy Buffet...Need I say more
Hit: 5 Stars

I was thrilled with this CD. I actually bought a new car and left it in the old one, so I have to get another one soon. I purchased one for my sister when I got mine and I think she really likes it too. I'm the Alan Jackson fan and she's the George Strait fan. We like both but we have our favorites. Who doesn't like Buffet? Thanks again.

Free Music Review: Boots Meet Boats

How could you possibly not like this CD?! Being an old parrothead and a someone who got off the LA freeway without getting caught this is the perfect blend for me. Bottom line, get me out of the city....if I cant be on a tropical island, give me the range. Give me a cheeseburger or a steak in paradise. Way to go George, Alan and Jimmy!
