Free Music Notes for Live at the Acropolis (CD & DVD)Free Music Review: The best of Yanni's live music! Hit: 5 Stars
I first caught this film in 1994 on PBS and have loved it ever since. It grabs your attention from the very first notes played by world-renown keyboardist Bradley Joseph and drummer Charlie Adams in the song "Santorini". Every song is highly orchestrated, some upbeat, others soft and mellow, but each one just as jaw-dropping as the last. Shardad Rohani does an amazing job conducting the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, as well as dueling violins with Karen Briggs in the song "Within Attraction". All of Yanni's live concerts are wonderful utilizing some of the greatest musicians in the world, but I have to say that this concert is his best and will live on in infamy. Its no wonder why it is the second best-selling concert film of all time. I seriously don't think he can ever top it.
Free Music Review: Magnificent! Hit: 5 Stars
Live At The Acropolis is my all time favorite but I think great things are soon to come from this composer/musician. Yanni has recently joined with Ric Wake, an Oscar/Grammy award winning producer and I viewed a short video clip announcing the direction he is taking his music by visiting his official website. I have all of his CD's and DVD's, I can't wait to see what he does next, but this one is a must have for any Yanni collection! :-)
Free Music Review: Yanni at his very best Hit: 5 Stars
Yanni's music is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes watching his
Live at the Acropolis DVD. Tears of joy. :o)
His music is full of joy and great rhythm. You can tell Yanni loves
what he is doing. So far this is his best.

there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is."
Free Music Review: Great time and money spent Hit: 5 Stars
I have known and heard about Yanni over ....wayyy to long time ago, also occasionally watched his video here and there but was not so *wow* about it to the point to buy a CD or DVD. Once, a friend who is Yanni's huge fan, re-introduced me to his music, I bought this combo and was amazed how beautiful music he has made.
Free Music Review: Live at The Acropolis DVD Hit: 5 Stars
If you're going to buy one Yanni DVD this would be the one. It's just plain excellent in all aspects of performance, production, & songs. Anything Yanni did after this production (either CD or DVD) just illustrates how he suborned his artistic talents and started chasing the dollar.
