Free Music Review: My Best Album
Hit: 5 Stars

All I can add to the many helpful reviews is that I have over 400 CD's, culled down to only ones I really like. My taste runs from Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top to Paul Simon in principally vintage rock/pop. After just a few plays, this album has become my favorite of all of them. Very good to excellent albums will typically have 3 songs or so per disc that I really like, including double albums like this. This album has SEVENTEEN songs that I REALLY like; one instrumental I also like; and only two songs that don't hack it for me. I now own it on every form of media available and have given it to my better friends. The only negative comments I have concern production, and no one cares about that in deciding whether to get an album or not. Buy this one. It's a winner.

Free Music Review: AS GOOD AS EVER
Hit: 5 Stars

Seems amazing to me the Eagles are as good as ever after all these years. I see lotsa people running down this album, but don't forget its hard to compare something thats new with something thats been burned into your memory on every type of radio station for over 30 years. If this album came out in 1976 you would know half the songs by heart by now. This is a top notch album, though not as rocky as some of their early stuff. If you like them as individual singer songwriters you will love this album. Great singing, harmonies, construction and just plain ole fun. I dont know why its only available at Wal-Mart but who cares. Theres not many people making music this good for adults these days, buy it and enjoy. Only $12 for a double album to boot !!

Free Music Review: Long Time Coming
Hit: 5 Stars

What a great gift; a new Eagles CD after what seems like an eternity. I'm not sure why anyone with good musical taste would rate this CD anything less than a 5 with the exception of someone who hadn't listened to it enough. This CD took a good 5 or 6 listenings to really hear the music and to fully appreciate this music. I would highly recomend you burn the music and listen to it on your Ipod and headphones as the detail will come through. The 2nd CD is better than the first with the title track probably my favorite and a departure from the past. You gotta buy this music and give it a few listens before forming an opinion! Once you've given it some time I'm sure you'll agree that this CD will be a classic for years to come. Bring on the tour boys!!

Free Music Review: Incredible!
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm afraid that I'm the type of person who has a tendency to only buy "greatest hits" type albums. I usually have to force myself to listen to new songs by anybody and, once I've gotten used to it (and have learned enough of the words to sing along), then I'll give in a buy the CD. But with this CD, I thought, "How hard can it be to 'get used to' songs by the group who sang songs like "Desparado" and the like? So I got the Long Road CD and reluctantly put it in my CD player. I was amazed by almost EVERY song and immediately fell in love with "What Do I Do With My Heart." I've called all my friends who appreciate this type of music and told them to head straight for Walmart and get a copy of this CD ('cause they're not gettin' mine!!).

Free Music Review: I've been waiting way too long for this!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I asked my Gen X son for this CD for Christmas. Just had a chance today to listen to it from start to finish. Maybe it was my Bose system in my car, but I found myself being taken to a different time and place and I was hooked from the very beginning. I wasn't expecting the CD to sound like the Eagles music from 30 years ago, although several songs reminded me of vintage Eagles. Their willingness to experiment a little was intriguing and the harmony is second to none. Of course, I have always loved Joe Walsh and was glad to hear him once again. To my way of thinking, I feel this is the best album yet. It does my "boomer" heart good to know that these guys still "kick it" and for awhile, I felt young again.
Rock on, Eagles:)
