My second concert (1st was Zeppelin) I saw SLB at Massapequa High School on Long Island. They opened for Ten Wheel Drive, and yes, they blew them away! They were so incredibly heavy everyone was freaking out. Definitely ahead of their time. Complete with a singing drummer who sings on 3 of The Lizards CD's. But alas the second album was a disapointment and the band seemed to lack direction. (Not unlike Captain Beyond and Montrose) The first album is a classic. Listen to the sound clips and you'll see what I mean. This is raw, down and dirty metal. If you are lookin' for a clean, polished sound don't but this. if you got this far, you should get this album. Crazy, hard rock that's been totally forgotten. Hard to compare bands since they are so unique but somewhat like zep, sab, etc. Epic, heavy, wild. TONS of great songs on here. Maybe only five mediocre ones. Hard to find in stores, definitely become a WOMAN TAMER yourself and rock it harder than hell!... Also recommended is Captain Beyond's self titled and Buffalo's "Volcanic Rock / We Only Want You For Your Body".Free Music Review: GET READY TO LOVE A CD

If you crave guitars that scream in your face, and need bass runs that soften your spine, BUY THIS CD!. I have listened to this cd on album since cutting high school with the misfits in Lodi NJ. and we all loved SIR LORD BALTIMORE. You need only listen to any one track on it and you will be transported to a loud place with power slithering all around you. Kingdom Come,' is fat, dirty, and very, very heavy. All the guitar, uh, sounds, I guess, are fuzzy and blunt, vocals are hollered with startling urgency and even the slower songs move like a staggering giant. Impressive considering it was 1970! Followed by an eponymous 1971 release that brought in a 2nd guitar and was almost equally as thunderous. Both are on this double-disc release.Free Music Review: best early hard rock cd ever!!!

this album is a standard for anyone who appreciates early experimenters of rock;these guys went out of their way to create a style rarely heard anymore;although they did not gain any fame..of everything i have heard in my life;if i had to choose 10 pieces of hard rock to keep of my collection;this would be one of them..a true masterpiece of hard rock!! a must for true rock fans..
