Let me start by saying I am one of the biggest Judy Garland fans around. I've been in love with her amazing voice for over 50 years. I guess that is why I feel disappointed with her daughters attempt at this album. Ms. Luft can certainly belt with the best of them, but when sings in the lower registers, she sings with a nasal twang that just goes right thru me. Chalk on a board comes to mind. I had waited for so long for this album to come out, but now I know why it was so long in coming. Lorna should have paid more attention when her mother was trying to teach her these songs!
If I'm in the mood for Judys songs, I'll listen to one of her own albums.
