Free Music Review: A labor of love from the Lobos

This wonderful album sounds to me as though they made it just for the joy of it. I love the slight rock feel they have even as they precisely hit the rhythms of the traditional songs - a little of that laid back groove the Lobos always have. The versions of some great original tunes are also enjoyable, although Steve Berlin's sax sounds a little strident on "Maricela" here.
