Free Music Review: A real gem

It was great to hear this music back in '84; it sounded so out of place with all the synth-pop that was ruling the airwaves. Quite a bit of that synth-pop sounds dated now, but this CD still sounds fresh. It also blows the current 'Latino pop' craze away - Ricky, Christina and Jennifer have NOTHING compared to Los Lobos (or Santana for that matter). All the songs are good, but worth it for the last two tracks alone; the way 'Lil King if Everything' segues into 'How Will the Wolf Survive' is priceless. A very worthy addition for your CD collection.
