Free Music Notes for ForgivenFree Music Review: A return to form for LLB Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is more like the first LLB record, which is the best effort by the Garza brothers. "Sacred" had a depressing feeling to it and wasnt as good at what LLB do best. And what they do best is soulful blues with harmony. "Forgiven" is a well written and performed album. It does have a more bluesy feel then the last record. My only real complaint is that most of the songs are under 4 minutes.
These guys are truly some of the most gifted musicians on the planet.
BUY FORGIVEN!!!!
Free Music Review: BEST EVER - 'FORGIVEN' Hit: 5 Stars
Los Lonely Boys out did themselves - again! "Forgiven" represents the stellar performance that the Garza Brothers are born with. The composition and lyrics of each song is amazing. "Heart Won't Tell A Lie", "Forgiven" and "Staying With Me" are beyond my expectations.
If you haven't had a chance to hear any of the songs, you are really missing out on probably the best cd ever compared to what is out there in the music market.
DON'T MISS OUT - GET SOME 'TEXICAN' ROCK & ROLL.
Free Music Review: Beatles, anyone? Hit: 5 Stars
this is the best band since the Beatles. Listen to "you're gonna make it better",..tell me that's not John Lennon and Paul,..it's inspired. I thought I heard traces of the Beatles in Sacred,..but this CD seals the deal for me. That second song, "Staying with Me",..it's very nice,..very very exquisitely goose bumps nice. Who ever that guy is,..that guy that plays lead guitar,..thank you, for renewing my faith in the future of rock.
Free Music Review: Classic Lonely Boys Hit: 5 Stars
The real rythm of classical Spanish speaking songs with the American rock flavor this group brings out were Santana left once became too famous for the masses, by stopping recording and appearing in public shows.
The Lonely Boys are in the front row at this time if they want to continue on top, however they must be more in the public eye performing outside of California, mixing up with other Spanish speaking performers.
Free Music Review: another solid album Hit: 5 Stars
These guys burst on the scene a number of years ago with "Heaven" and I was worried that they might be a one-hit wonder. Not so. Not by a long shot. They seem to get better with age. This album is one great song after another. Great vocals, great guitar work, terrific song-writing. Just bloody impressive all the way through, using the Tex-Mex sort of beat with some blues, pop, rock overtones. Just good stuff.
