Brian Setzer has nothin on Louis Prima. This group can swing! Sam Butera's sax style and tone is refreshing, big sound and he can sing. This is one of our family's all time favorites. Being from New Orleans, Louis Prima has always been a favorite. Everyone in our home loves this album. My 4-year old has even abandoned Barney for Prima. This CD will practically move you back to swingtime in New Orleans.Free Music Review: Prima is prima!

I first heard the album in 4 th of July -99 at a garden party in the South of Sweden, Europe, where I happen to live. The party was thrown by my cousin and her american husband. As soon as I heard the music I just went wild and couldn't help dancing around although I was sober as a muslim on Ramadan whereas some of the other guests must have thought I was either crazy or on drugs (which I was not). I have since bought the album via internet and I think I know why Prima didn't reach fame in Europe - he was apparently scared to fly according to the album booklet. Finally, I consider this the best cd I've listened to for a long, long time!
