Free Music Notes for Grease II (1982 Film)Free Music Review: Grease II Rocks Hit: 4 StarsSure, Grease I was fabulous and you got to hear John and Olivia wail, but don't discount Michelle either. I have heard that she disclaims doing this film, but it is one of my favorites with her in a starring role, and whether or not she believes it, she can sing! This is some good and fun music and you can rock right along with Cool Rider or Who's That Guy or any other song on the disc and thoroughly enjoy it! It would even make just as good Karaoke as the original Grease soundtrack! Give it a try and you will love it too.
Free Music Review: A Musical score worthy of Broadway! Hit: 5 StarsAs a fan of great musicals, i can't help but ask myself why no one has ever attempted to make this into a play... It'd be an absolutely spectacular performance, the music is really captivating for what the story represents. The original was wonderful, but the sequel stands alone and personally i think its just as good if not better than the original grease movie. This soundtrack is great especially for people who grew up watching Grease 2, i'd recommend it for any musical fan or anyone who remembers loving the movie.
Free Music Review: classic Hit: 5 StarsPerhaps the movie might not be have as astonishing as the first one, but as far sequels go, it was great.
And just like the movies, so was the soundtrack.
Having the gang sing while you drive is incredible, the music is contagious, and deadfully delightful.
May you all enjoy the songs that made the movie.
Free Music Review: The Sum of it's parts? Hit: 3 StarsGrease 2 was a dud, but it's score swims considerably better without the rest of the film dragging it under. While the handful of tunes do little to evoke the nostalgia of the 50's the way the first film's score did, they're catchy and fun to sing in the shower. A few of the songs have nothing much to do with the plot, but it's when the music allows itself to get fun and raunchy, like on my personal favorite Reproduction, that it soars most.
Free Music Review: My mom babysat "Sharon" Hit: 5 StarsMy mother used to babysit "Sharon" Maureen Teefy, the one who sang "Let's do it for our country" with her boyfriend Goose or Gooch whatever his name was?
It is a great movie I still prefer the first one but this is good too.
My favorite songs are "Reproduction", and "Love will turn back the hands of time",and "Score tonight"!
Great campy movie and equally great soundtrack:-)
