Louis is the former lead singer of the rock group Ika. He began his career singing Leonard Cohen songs to inspire his own musical identity. Mentored by producer Dorian Chaillou, he emerged with a fresh take on French chanson. His first album, "D'apparence en apparence", revealed his style to be among those explore the range of human emotions and relationships in 12 songs of melancholy light beauty. With this sophomore effort, Louis asserts himself in the Gainsbourg/Daho/Jacno school of pop, with songs clothed in brilliant, light orchestrations by Alexandre Azaria, who arranged and produced the album.
