The albumn starts off with American Idol's Kelly Clarkson and her hit single, "The Trouble with Love is" The song is very beautiful and captivating. Maroon 5 is an awesome band and I'm so glad to see their song "Sweetest Goodbye" in the soundtrack. "Here with Me" is a beautiful classic by Dido. A very soothing song that is very relaxing. The talented Norah Jones features her song, "Turn Me On" She's truly talented and a great songwriter. "Wherever you will Go" by the Calling is a fantastic love song and will always be one of my favorites. Not only does the albumn have slower love songs, it includes an "Oldies" hit that is great to JUMP to, "Jump (For My Love)" The soundtrack includes a song by the Beach Boys and other awesome songs. Probably the best song on this disk and one of all-time is "God Only Knows," which is a haunting (maybe best) song by the Beach Boys, of all groups, lol. It is played at the very end of the movie when most viewers are tearing up :)Joni Mitchell also does a great "Both Sides Now," one of the movie's best.
Kelly Clarkson is another highlight. Her "The Trouble With Love Is" is the soundtrack song that is getting the most radio play at both Pop and Adult Contemporary stations. It is played during the middle of the movie, then again after "God Only Knows" when the credits start (funny thing is that this song is on her solo album "Thankful" too, which is such a strong album, that this song was probably my 2nd least favorite) and works well with this movie.

This is hands down my favorite movie soundtrack! Seriously, I cannot gush enough about this CD. There is not one song on this CD that I don't love. It's even hard for me to pick favorites. "God Only Knows," "All You Need is Love," "Too Lost in You," "I'll See it Through," "Take Me as I Am," "Both Sides Now," "Turn Me On," "Jump (For My Love)," and "Songbird" rank up there with my very favorites. (I'm sorry-- I know I listed practically every song!) "Christmas is All Around" was the main reason I bought the CD and it was worth it just for that song! All the Christmas songs are wonderful. I bought the CD around Christmastime, but I've found myself listening to it all the time. You won't be disappointed if you buy this CD!Free Music Review: The Track They Missed!

A fantastic CD that every fan of the movie should own! Has classics like Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" and the Beach Boys "God Only Knows" side by side with Modern Day Classics like DIDO's "Here With Me" (one of my personal TOP TEN all time favorites!) and Kelly Clarkson's "The Trouble With Love Is". Pity that the producers didn't include a new track from Pop/Rock Artist AMBER that fits the theme of the movie perfectly: "Just Like That (Romeo and Juliet)" from her fantastic new "My Kind of World" CD. This Pat Benatar-esque track has "Pop Radio Hit" written all over it and would have given the Soundtrack some radio exposure! My advice? Get BOTH "Love Actually" Soundtrack and Amber - My Kind of World.Free Music Review: This is a great soundtrack !

This is an excellent soundtrack for an equally entertaining movie. The soundtrack has hits from all different genres of music. It compliments the movie so well that when you listen to it you can easily recall the scene that it was playing in the film.
My favourite songs were:
Kelly Clarkson's song: It lets her display her vocal range and furthers supports her title as an American Idol.
Maroon 5's song: It is a catchy tune that you could just sit back and listen to.
Norah Jones: Her song brings the mood down to a more intimate atmosphere.
This cd is definitely worth getting for your collection if you are looking for a cd that has a variety of great songs.
