Another reviewer saved me from a terrible mistake. I've learned that soundtracks often leave out some of the best music from the films and I was afraid this would happen on the Love Actually CD. Another reviewer noted that the UK version has all the music, especially the love themes that I most wanted, whereas the US and Asian version do not. Couldn't find the UK version in US stores, but found it on the Amazon.com.uk site. Price was reasonable even with shipping from UK and it arrived very quickly. CD is great. Only disappointment, as noted by others is replacing Pointer Sisters' version of JUmp.Free Music Review: Great if you love the movie.

Maybe some people did not like this movie. I had never heard of it until I rented the DVD. Mostly I do not buy DVDs, since I have NetFlix, can watch free videos on there, cheap ones right here on Amazon, and on hulu and numerous other sites. However, that movie is one of the few I ever bought on DVD--the story is good and is very enhanced by the music. Liam Neeson is one of the stars, as is Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant and numerous others. I am writing this the end of January 2009, and both Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson have movies that have just started playing in San Diego.

I've owned both copies of the Love Actually soundtrack now, and I'm happy to report that this edition comes complete with the "Christmas is All Around" track by Billy Mack from the movie! This track is difficult to find, iTunes doesn't even carry it, so I was very pleased to find it on this CD for sale here on Amazon.
This is one of my favorite CDs to pop in no matter what mood I'm in. And if you love the movie as much as I do, you'll adore having this soundtrack to listen to. This would also make a great gift for any friend or loved one who is a fan of the movie.

I have to say that this soundtrack is as delightful as the movie itself. Both add a much needed touch of warmth to these colder months. Highlights of the cd include the classic Joni Mitchell, Otis Redding, Maroon 5 (a surprise as I have only heard one song of theirs before), and Kelly Clarkson. Her song, "The Trouble With Love Is" takes the listener back to the sounds of Aretha Franklin and Donny Hathaway. Her soulful voice is undeniable and can warm any heart. This is one of the best pop soundtrack I know of. I'm not that kind of girl how listen to pop-music so to actuallt find a soundtrack with so much good music has never happend before. And of course the new versjon of "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is a masterpice and so is the new Christmas cover of Wet Wet Wet's "Love Is All Around" ("Christmas Is All Around". A very good soundtrack for a very good movie^^ A must have for a fan's of the film and soundtrack collectors like my self ^^
