Are you as sick as I am of having to skip to the good songs you rememberfrom the movie on a soundtrack? Then buy this one, immediately! I loved the whole thing, I even kind of liked the movie-music track towards the end (glasgow love theme). I didn't skip over one single track, and played a couple of them twice (joni mitchell!) A fabulous soundtrack to complemente a fabulous movie. Kelly Clarkson's The Trouble with Love is one of the best tracks, Norah Jones, Wyclef Jean and Jonie Mitchell are great. The addition of Jump (for My Love) and The Pointer Sisters is a feel good over the top track that reminds us of one of the funniests moments of the movie. This is a must have CD, if you've seen the movie or not....it has a wonderful array of genres and artists. The music is fantastic. I, actually, have a friend who asked me (when I was playing the CD in the car) if this was from the movie. She is a great fan of the movie and recognized the music immediately. This is a wonderful 5* soundtrack filled with all manner of love songs. It's great on its own, but then having the three distinctly Christmas songs at the very end captures the feel of the movie really well. And what a way to go out with a bang - "All I Want For Christmas is You" by Olivia Olson is perfect.
