I first heard this album when I was living on the French département outre mer, La Réunion. I heard a little bit here and there and decided to buy the CD. It is fantastic. In fact, I must have worn my CD out, because the last few tracks (which also happen to be my favorites) won't even play anymore. So now I have to buy another copy (the other night I resorted to singing to myself, "Dieu que le monde est injuste" when it wouldn't play more than the first three seconds). Non so quanti di voi capiranno ciò che sto scrivendo visto che non conosco molto bene l'inglese! ^^;In ogni caso, questo Musical non ha precedenti... è difficile da descrivere una creazione divina che non può esser migliore di ciò che è già!
Il CD tuttavia è nulla in confronto al Musical vero e proprio perciò, se ne avete ancora la possibilità... andate a vederlo!! Non fatevi scappare un capolavoro del genere! ;)

my friend burned me a copy of this and I listen to it almost every day. I listen to it at school all the time. Even though I have no idea what they are saying, it sounds so beautiful. Some of my siblings are taking french and some of the songs they can translate for me. It seems like everytime I listen to it, it makes my wanting to see the musical or buying the DVD more. My wife and I both loved the audio CD and the DVD. The DVD is outstanding and the audio CD, if anything, is even better. Noa singing the the Part of Esmeralda is superb.

There is something about quality musicals that just get under my skin, in a good way, and this is my most favorite of all...yes even more than Phantom of the Opera and probably tied with Les Miserables. This shortened version doesn't include all of the songs, but it has the best ones, if you can't afford the complete set, like me, this is just as good, you will LOVE it!!!
