Three of the best characters from three of the most memorable R&B/Hip Hop groups come together to put us all back on the dance floor. I enjoy this CD each time I put in the CD player. Yeah this disk got some happening cuts. It surely would have blown all the way up if they got that much needed airplay. I heard it for a minute and then nothing. Got some creepers on this CD. It grows on you, but I like some funk in my mix and some of the songs need to pump up the volume on the bass. I don't get it. Time for these talented groups (Lucy Pearl) to forget about trying to sound like everybody else on the radio. Come with you own vibe. Cause you most definetly got that vibe.That's for certain.

Although lightweight, LUCY PEARL gave enough substance to warrant a second CD someday. All throughout the disc, there was definite traces of Raphael Saadiq's TONY, TONI, TONE' sound that made them famous and the added talents of Dawn Robinson and Ali Shaheed Muhammed only intensified the beats and brought about a new area of the neo-soul sound. Definitely a good pick for the laid back and conservative head-bopper.Free Music Review: One of a kind

I have heard and seen this CD talked about on this site as well as other places. Then I finally got a copy of the CD, but sadly, I didn't get to play it until tonight, and I must say that it is truly one of a kind..I am sorry I didn't listen to it right off. It is funky,sweet, and plain old good. "Don't Mess with my man","I love the way you love me"(Bonus track)and,"Everyday" are my favorite cuts on this track. Don't be like me and kick it to the curb, check it out and enjoy! You will not be disappointed.Free Music Review: One of a kind
