I've been listening to rap music since 1986. Fun rap/Funny rap/Gangsta-rap/Dance rap/evil rap/popular rap/underground. And I can clearly say -- This is some of the BEST (...)I've ever heard!!
[This is] is fresh. [this] is creative. [this] is new. [this] is tight. [this] is the sh*t!
Finally some great motivational, genuine, awesome rap music! I've been waiting for this since rap began. I like, especially, this rappers sense of humor.
Good job, Ludacris! You're on my #1 list.
This was written by a super smart, skiing, surfing white dude who can steal your girl from you in 2 seconds, and if you don't like it..F*CK YOU!
(that last line was a reference to one of my favorite songs on the album, it is completely non-offensive. It's a joke.)
btw, the long-beach/warren-g style music parady song is great, with snoop dogg.

I remember the good ole days of Nas, Wu Tang clan, C-Murder, B.G., Kweli, Common, and De La Soul. Unfortunatley rap these days is so poor. I should give Luda credit for being slightly more literate than his protege Chingy, but the subject matter is so utterly trite and uncreative. Why is it OK for modern rappers to degrade their women in abusive and sexist language? Whatever happened to creative and respectul rap?The CD may be summarized in the same way as any modern hip-hop album: A arrogant, selfish man who claims to be from the projects but never gives anything back to his community raps about how many girls he has,blablabla...
This music is destructive the the Black race which is in a serious crisis to begin with. Luda has so much popularity that he could put out some positive rap and perhaps influence his community for the better. But inevitably he ends up rapping about nightclubs, guns , and girls. C'mon people, lets bring it back to love and respectful hip-hop.

Ludacris is one of my favorite rappers. Chicken n Beer is a classic album you can tell. My favorite tracks are the first 3 which have all been released. I like Ludacris because he can rap fast and I like fast rappers. If you like this you should also get Twistas album kamikazi because there is a song featuring Ludacris.
