Free Music Review: Go Luis Fonsi!

Despite his poor breathing technique (oh those steady breath-releasing word-by-word closings do get in my nerves) Fonsi excels in expressing the core feelings of the songs found in "Abrazar la Vida". The energetic strength in his crisp and beatiful vocals make you love "Se Supone" (the last track on the album) even though the lyrics are obviously written by an amateur (No offense Luis, pero hablo Espanol a la perfeccion, and yes the lyrics did BREAKTHROUGH this time but they could still use a little more work).This album deserves a 5 for the effort put into it, it was a RUSHED (don't defy the truth, it was a RUSHED) production, perhaps due to his flop "Fight the Feeling" (which you should definitely check out if you enjoy "Abrazar la Vida") Anyways... moving on with this production I loved the fresh concept behind the words of "Yo", which is about the girlfriend that tells you who to be, I love the way this song tries to put a stop on those girls (I'll be dedicating it to my girl, hehe). It's a cool track. Now let's talk about Quien Te Dijo Eso? Another somewhat innovative concept behind a song... Girl... "Who told you that?" That I don't love you? 'Course I do! Very nice Luis, good song.
To say something about the song who gives title to the album, "Abrazar la Vida"... positivism to the tenth power! I love it... people out in the world, like myself could use songs like this! Thanks for the grain of sand! (Gracias por el granito de arena!) The track that follows is "Yo te propongo"... cool! Me gusta! The trumpets and the percussions make the song... not to mention Luis' power-charged vocals. "Extrano Sentimiento", could be better titled if it was `un sentimiento extrano' starts out a bit corny and doesn't progress much... I like the way the background vocals blend in with the lead voice... I don't know where the lyrics want to go yet, I know that the "strange feeling" is falling in love, but still... is that all the song wants to say? Another title I don't like is "Por ti podria morir" sounds like something a fifteen-year-old would write... am I being too straightforward? The lyrics don't do it for me. "Viviendo en el ayer" is a nice track the 'por que sera...' parts get stuck in my head. In "Te echo de menos" I like the electric guitar strikes and the vintage drum sounds, nice track. "Eso que llaman amor" is a fun track! Dance with it, you'll see what I mean.
The duet "La fuerza de mi corazon" is a nice song. But finally, one of my favorites "Eligeme" is just a sweet song that seems to be a song I won't get tired of. Listen to it.
"Abrazar La Vida" is a decent work that could've been better like anything else... let's give Luis Fonsi a five to spur him... the guy has potential!
Conclusion: If you like Latin pop you should grab a copy! (Not a bootleg)

Luis Fonsi is back and sounding better than ever. If there is one thing that I can say about this remarkable talent, it's the purity in his voice. His soaring tenor comes out effortless, hitting high notes that will give you chills. This will happen quite a few times on Abraza La Vida. Stunning ballads such as Eligme and Se Supone showcase his vocals the best. Beautifully sung, with gorgoeus melodies. Other highlights include the duet La Fuerza De Mi Corazon and the uptemp Yo. There are many highlights on this new cd, and you won't regret buying this. By far his best cd to date.Free Music Review: Luis Fonsi the BEST

Wow, what can I say about Luis...If you don't know him i REALLY suggest that you do get to know him...He is a GREAT singer...He can sing pop, salsa, balad anything you name it..With his soft voice there is no dought that you will defenetelly fall in love with him...This new album is just another one of his good ones...He just keeps on getting better and better every year since his first one (Comensare 2000)I bought the albul the day it came out (October 28) and EVERY day the album is all I listen to. The first single "Quien te dijo eso" is very romantic. And then "Abrazar la vida" has more "ritmo" (forgot how to say it in inglish..sorry)...But anyways...Ohh just can't leave out "YO" it's just perfect..think it should be the next single..and the duet with another great singer...agree with the other person that said it is perfect...What else...but nevermind us talking about it..Best thing you could do is buy it, listen to it and prove it your self...Trust me you will not regret buying the Album.Luis Fonsi, you're the best..keep it up and remember that you have lots and lots of fans that are always there for you. Suerte y siempre pa lante, pa tras ni pa cojer impulso...Y eres mi Coqui precioso de Puerto Rico...weeeppaaaaa Love ya lots.

Since the day I heard that a new cd was on its way, I was already wanting it a lot. when i got it yesterday(oct.28) I was shocked. His Voice is more relaxing, more mature, and more romantic. WIth more feeling on all the songs. This is the bomb. The best latin album of the year for a singer such as luis fonsi. The first single, already playing hard on Radios: Quien te dijo eso was the perfect election to be a single. The sounds are awesome. This is the song that you just want to hear over and over again and like it more every time. Then the other ones, Abrazar la vida, with a new sounds blows you off. WELL DONE. Then the next ones are just perfect for the ear. For parties or for when you are in the car driving. I took a drive to the beach and it was the best thing, to have the cd playing. The song that just blew me away with its high note and excellent lyrics was: la fuerza de mi corazon(the strenght of my heart) a duet with another great singer. The song from start to end just make you want to sing with them. IS PERFECT. THis is a must have. Luis will make a lot of new fans with this cd. And I strongly suggest buying this cd. even if you don't know Spanish, by just listening to his Unique Voice, you will EMBRACE LIFE in a new way and cherish all the good moments of your life...along with his music.Free Music Review: Abrazar La Vida -

La mas nueva produccion de Luis Fonsi, y como sus grabacionesanteriores, este disco tambien es un "ganador". Los temas
"Quien te dijo eso?" y "Abrazar la vida", los primeros dos temas del disco, sin ninguna duda van a dejar huella.
"Yo Te Propongo", tema con ritmo caribeno/tropical, no se queda atras. Es contagioso, y te dan ganas de bailar.
Este disco ya forma parte de mi coleccion.
