Free Music Review: Another Great Release from Luis Miguel

I enjoyed this latest CD, it is a combination of his normal staple of romantic ballads such as the title track "Amarte es un Placer", "Dormir Contigo", "No Me Fio" as well as great uptempo music like "Sol, Arena y Mar", "Dimelo en un Beso" the album overall I will say I was pleased with, he has one of the great voices in Latin music. It will be on my regular play list for time to come, they say great singers never get old, Luis Miguel is one who can claim that.Free Music Review: Fue lo max!!

I heard this guy since he was young singing lollie pop songs for teenagers. He has a great voice. And he's one of the best latino romance singer right now. But he's 1 dimensional. He strength are in ballads. I don't think he's in the voice category of a Marc Anthony or Andrea Bocelli. But he's good.I don't why people compare him to Ricky Martin. 2 different performers. It's like comparing Whitney Houston to Madonna. Ricky's strength is in his live performances and singing different kinds of music from ballads to latino rhythim music. Luis Miguel will never make a cd like Ricky's "VUELVE". That's his masterpiece. That's like the Beatle's white album for Ricky Martin. Every song in that cd are great. And comparing Ricky live to Luis it's like comparing a Mercedez Benz to a Viper. And Ricky live is like a the Viper.
Going back to Luis Miguel album. It's good but not great. Like I said he's 1 dimensional. If you like romance songs this is it. But there's only like 3 or 4 good ones in the whole album. If you want really good latino music in english or spanish go listen to Marc Anthony. He's all substance not just looks. If you want romantic songs and want to be sastisfied form track #1 to the last track then get ANDREA BOCELLI in italian, english or spanish I think he's the best romantic singer out there.

an OK singing voice with a lot of bland orchestral wallpaper; I really don't like this kind of format generally. I could hardly believe the height of the praise in most of the other reviews. Never heard Luis Miguel before but because of other latin sounds I had quite high expectations. Be sure you know what you're getting before you buy this.
