The first Vibert I ever heard was "Yoseph," a fantastic acid LP in its own right. However, this CD, compiling three of his past 12" gems is quite more enjoyable, I think. Each track is a solid 5 stars and moves in me an awe that is part jealousy and part inspiration. Vibert's sound is so simple, yet so impressively confusing. His timing isn't all that complex, nor is his sampling, but something in the combination of these and other aspects that creates an amazing sound. It's something like sex for my ears. I want to dance whenever this album is on, though it is often inappropriate. The track "Acid 2000" is the most impressive of these.
