This has been our favorite lullaby CD. We decided to listen to the CD about three months before the baby was born to "try it out". We listened to it every night from that day on! The songs are all relaxing. The music and voices (even if you don't understand what is being sung) are beautiful. If you want a CD with a nice variety of songs that exposes your child to different languages you will not be disappointed!Free Music Review: Get it, but ANGELS ALL AROUND works better for sleep

This is one of the best lullaby CD's you could get. It's much better than most of the other kind of smooth jazz type lullaby CD's. It's top notch for quality. But it's not the most quiet and soothing.
The most quiet and soothing one is GENIE's ANGELS ALL AROUND.
I would definitely get that one and all 4 Genie CD's if you want to relax yourself or your child for real.

We received this album as a gift and fell in love with it immediately. It works like a charm getting our little ones to sleep. It's also relaxing for adults to listen to. We never take a long car trip without this CD!Free Music Review: Not as soothing as I had hoped.

This collection is kind of a hit-and-miss. Some of these songs are beautiful. I find myself gazing in the crib at my sleeping baby, and a peacefulness comes over me. These are the songs that capture the beauty of this time in my baby's life. However, some of the songs are not soothing. I also agree that one song is a bit louder than the others. It customarily causes him to stir and/or wake up.
For the most part, we listen to this for a little variety. But, I would suggest, "I Can Only Imagine." It is a fantastic collection of soothing songs just perfect for bedtime and relaxation.

My daughter is 8 years old now and we are expecting a new baby. I came online hoping I would find this music that she had when she was an infant. It is the absolute best music for a baby!! She would fall asleep to it everyday in her swing. I still sing A La Nanita Nana to this day. I am sooooo relieved to have found it, so our next little girl will also be able to enjoy it!
