I cannot begin to communicate to anyone how much I enjoyed this CD. This CD seems to put you in touch with Luther on another level. This CD is a must for all of Luther's loyal fans. There are many vocalists around today. There are few who can truly cover the full range of emotions either vocally, or with written compositions. Luther was a man who could do both. He was gifted with the power of voice and the written word, and used the both to great effect. After reading many Amazon customer reviews I was drawn to a tribute to this man on the Michael valentineStudio review site. A fitting tribute to a genius. Many albums to view and search for. I will be hunting the net for many albums I had not seen before as it is clear Luther was a busy technician as well as a vocal genius.
I don't regard Dance With My Father to be his best, but Luther did not make a bad album so whatever you purchase from the Luther collection, you will have a slice of Luther's emotions as was felt at the time. It's all-good!
