Hopefully this will not be the last concert by Luther Vandross, because those who might not have had the pleasure of experiencing have missed a true legend. This album was beautifully crafted and showed how Luther has command over music. His lush orchestrations on these songs shows a master at work. Young singers and musicians should take note, its not about synthesized computer animated music. When the songs Luther sings can move you to tears, that is the mark of a great musician. Sure there were some songs that were not included, but the songs included were some of my most cherished by him.Free Music Review: Outstanding

This CD reminds me of an LV concert last year. I felt transported back to that beautiful night at Irvine Meadows. Every song on this CD is great. I've been listening to it for days and can't get over how great LV still sounds. And his Background singers are da bomb. You have to see them in concert!CD is very put together. Only drawback is that it's a bit short for an artist who has gobs of great material. Should've been a double CD, but I love it nonetheless.

Mr.VANDROSS is a vocalist that has a rare gift only granted to a few artists. This recording enables his legion of fans to obtain a second row seat and experience the raw talent of VANDROSS. The production on this LIVE RECORDING places this CD in the same league as other legendary live recordings having went on to win GRAMMY OF THE YEAR for ALBUM such as "JUDY GARLAND LIVE".
Fan or not, this is one hell of a POP/RB recording from a musical legend.

Any one that has an appreciation for R&B from a rich and smooth voice like Luther's will love this CD. I have a lot of Luther Vandross albums, but there's always something to be said about hearing a live rendition of some of your favorite songs.This is a very calming, and yet exciting set of songs to listen to, regardless if you're relaxing in front of the fire, trying to create a mood, or just want to listen to great songs sung by a great vocalist.

I love Luther Vandroses music. His sings like a mockingbird and his words come across like a melodic butterfly in motion. This is one of my favorite CD's and it is totally Luther at his best!There is no way he could have put all of the favorites but he sure came close.
