I like a brother that keeps it real. Lyfe has a God given talent. I am glad he had time to make a change in his life and use his hands and mind for writing lyrics and his voice for singing those lyrics. I have to agree with all the other reviewers....this cd is awesome. I also got his first one and thought it was the best cd I had heard in a very long time and was wondering how it could get any better. Well, believe me, he has made another one that is a stand out among many. I love his delivery, his thoughts, and his commitment to quality. R&B has been taken to another level so go out and get this one quick fast and in a hurry! Lyfe, if you are reading, thank you, thank you, thank you for being who you are! All I can say is that when I got to the end of the CD, I was like "Is that It?". I had to go back and make sure I was on the last track because I wanted to hear so much more! It's like I could listen to Lyfe forever. I did not want it to end...Bravo!
I have the first CD also and I must say the Lyfe has outdone himself with this one. Keep up the good work. Can't wait til the next release.

Lyfe Jennings is the best thing to happen to the music business in a long time. I never listen to the radio because it's so much garbage out. Then enters Lyfe, this CD is simply amazing it's the kind of music that just memorizes you. His writing is so raw and gritty and the things he says makes you really stop and think. I'm in love with his music, get the CD you want be disappointed. Free Music Review: It's serious.

Usually I don't like CD's the first time I hear them, they usually have to grow on me. But I liked this CD the first time I heard it.
'Keep ya head up' is so on time, Tupac's lyrics were so awesome in this song and we needed to hear it again. Lyfe's delivery just adds the whipped cream and cherry on the top! He's honest in his lyrics, says things others are thinking but never say, and that is refreshing. Lyfe keeping doing what you do!
