This CD was recorded as part of Gaither's Homecoming Series. It doesn't have a polished "studio feel," but it does have lots of enthusiastic ambiance from the background singers, and it's fun to listen to. The songs are upbeat, encouraging songs in the rich, deep voice that Lynda is famous for. This is a great "sing along" CD with encouraging classic gospel songs about heaven and going home to Jesus. Because she loves Ms. Randle's Mountain CD, I bought this on a no-reason whim -- along with the Mahalia Jackson tribute CD -- for my shut-in Mom. She was surprised and delighted with it. So, while the very capable Ms. Randle may not approach the level of gospel greats such as Mahalia, Mom's reaction was reward enough for me.

I caught Lynda singing while channel surfing one night and am hooked on her beautiful voice. I now have all of her CDs and my personal favorite is Timeless I. If there is anyone who has not heard her voice I urge you to take a listen.Free Music Review: TIMELESS

What A Voice - God-Gifted!To, me "TIMELESS" is one of Lynda's best CD's. (owned both the CD and video)... I blast it to and from work - it is incredibly emotional and Joy seems to invade my whole car - literally.
"One Day" is awesome, especially the way Lynda sings it - one can almost hear "Him" calling one's name.
I highly recommend it for any age...it will get you up and moving...
