Free Music Notes for Street SurvivorsFree Music Review: Lynyrd Skynyrd + Steve Gaines = Aah, what could have been... Hit: 5 Stars
This album is a bittersweet reminder of how much more the band had to offer with the contributions of new member Steve Gaines. "I Know A Little" and "You Got That Right" were a couple of the songs wrote/cowrote for Street Survivors by Gaines. He was the only member besides Ronnie to sing lead on a Skynyrd record ("Ain't No Good Life.")
The rerelease of this CD includes interesting alternate versions of "You Got That Right" and "I Never Dreamed."
Free Music Review: just an importat information Hit: 5 Stars
I read the reviews of one of my favorites albuns ever and I noticed something.
I would like to add an information that for me is very important about this album.
Steve Gaines is the lead singer in 'Ain't no good life, and makes the duet with Van Zant in You got tha right.
I think his energy and talent is the best thing at this album. (inclued the guitar riff of I know a Little)
Free Music Review: Some people just don't get it Hit: 5 Stars
Anyone who doesn't like this album with the soulful tune and lyrics to "One More Time" just doesn't get it. I grew up in Alabama and was raised on this music. We lived it. Hey, if you don't feel the connection to Ronnie and Gary one this one, you never will.
Free Music Review: Tight Sound! Hit: 5 Stars
