Free Music Notes for Warriorz

Free Music Review: 5 star classic easily
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is great why does everybody give's it only 3 stars it is at least worth 4 stars but i gave it 5 stars because it was my first m.o.p. album and it wouldn't be the last. I knew about m.o.p. before from hearing them with gangstarr, i liked them but they where too hard-core for me. Then i've heard the song "ante up" which is one of my favorite songs, so i went to the store and i byed it without even listening. At first i didn't liked the song "everyday" because m.o.p. is not R'n'B but after a few listenings i started to like it(even love it). The baddest song is probably "g-building" but i don't think it's bad. After hearing this album i wanted to buy another m.o.p. album but i couldn't find another-one(in Belgium you only find the super-commercial hiphop-albums: p-diddy, snoop dogg,...). I've found this one because of the song "cold as ice". I will continue looking for other m.o.p. albums. The only message i'm giving to you is too buy this album.

Free Music Review: Ultimately Disappointing
Hit: 3 Stars

I have always considered M.O.P. along with Onyx as the two most up-tempo, hardcore, pump-up rap groups. I loved M.O.P.'s earlier release "To the Death" and after seeing them live, I couldn't wait to purchase "Warriorz". I was incredibly disappointed with the new album though. I will admit "Ante Up" is one of the hypest rap songs I've ever heard and I am completely in love with it (Funkmaster Flex's intro to the song though was definitely unneccessary and distracting), but besides that track and "On the Front Line", I found the album fairly poor. I enjoyed M.O.P.'s earlier "To the Death" because it had simple, intense beats and some not too deep, but hardcore rhymes. On "Warriorz" the beats were stale and the hooks and choruses of most of the songs were fairly annoying. "Cold as Ice" and "Nig-Gotiate" are so bad, I have to make sure to skip over them every time I listen to the album. Lil' Fame and Billy Danz are talented lyricists though and some of their rhymes shine throughout "Warriorz", so I couldn't drop my rating of this album below 3 stars.

Overall, I'd recommend checking out M.O.P.'s other releases, like "To the Death" before purchashing this one. I love M.O.P., but they were really off-point on this one.

Free Music Review: How about a wee tone down on the hardcore, chaps!
Hit: 3 Stars

Indeedy, I loved "Ante Up", next to "Gangstas Paradise" it has to be one my favoritest hip hop songs ever. But catch my drift fellow listeners!

This album is to hardcore for you!

... It is unfit for any ears, though the background noise is quite jolly!

God save the Queen! At least that's what I screamed after listening to this monstrosity. Only because the beats were as dandy as a basket of fish and chips did I give this 3 stars!

Super yucky! GO BLING BLING CHAP-O-ROONEYS!

Free Music Review: not bad
Hit: 3 Stars

This album isn't bad, however it was up for album of the year on the Source awards, and it definetly isn't that great. "Nig-gotiate" and "Ante Up" (of course) are really the only stand out tracks. It is somewhat annoying and it gets repetitive how they scream BROWNSVILLE!!!! after every verse but other then that, a solid effort from the Mash Out Posse.

Free Music Review: MOP
Hit: 4 Stars

there's definately a style of their own and you either love it or hate it. Because I love it they got 4 stars. From the first time I heard "Cold as Ice" I couldn't get enough of that joint for a while.
