Free Music Notes for Motley Crue - Greatest HitsFree Music Review: a big let down Hit: 2 StarsOk I bought this cd because Shout At The Devil was sold out. I thought all of Motley Crue's music sounded like the songs on Shout At The Devil. Man was I wrong! I guess the problem is that I'm not a fan of thier music after the first two albums. Out of 17 songs the only song that stands out in my mind is "Looks That Kill". The worst songs on this cd, I think, are: Enslaved; Girls, Girls, Girls; Same Ol' Situation; Afraid; Don't Go Away Mad (Just Gow Away); Smokin' In The Boys Room; Too Fast For Love; Shout At The Devil '97; and Without You. Another thing I didn;t like was the fact that there wasn't many songs that featured Mick Mars, but i like guitar solos.... I hoped this helped you if you are only into the heavy Crue.
Free Music Review: Great Collection! Hit: 5 StarsThis is a great great collection of all of the great Crue hits. It also features two new tracks in "Bitter Pill" and "Enslaved." My favorite two songs are "Kickstart my Heart", and "Wild Side."
Free Music Review: Great!!! Hit: 4 StarsThis album would be the best Greatest Hits album i have right behind my "Cure's Greatest Hits" but there is one song missing from it and that would be Too Young To Fall In Love its why I gave it a 4 but the rest of the music is rad! If you are a 'Crue fan, buy it, you'll regret if you didnt.
Free Music Review: An OK Best Of!!! Hit: 3 StarsThis is a good Greatest Hits album, but it lacks the Crue classics Live Wire, Starry Eyes, Piece of your Action, Too Young to fall in Love, Ten Seconds to Love, The original Shout at the Devil, and Helter Skelter!!!!! I was expecting better of the Crue than this.I'd buy this only for Afraid which is the only song worth buying this for!!! If u are a true Crue fan skip this and buy the studio albums and if u are a casual fan this is a good choice.
Free Music Review: Hasn't Left my Car Yet! Hit: 5 StarsThe Crue to me has always been a band that makes some great bad ass music but I was never big enough on 'em prior to recently to actually buy a CD. However, I decided the Greatest Hits was an essential disk to have and WOW it sure is. Sure, it's missing some great stuff..."Too Young to Fall in Love", "Shout at the Devil" (original) amongst many other great songs they did are not to be found on here. It's also got it's songs that really don't belong on here such as "Glitter" and "Shout at The Devil" (remake). However, other than if I could swap those 2 songs for the other 2 I listed, I'd say this is perfect. Great quality, and the booklet has some great words from the band members. The two new songs on here, "Bitter Pill" and "Enslaved" are amazing and two of the best on the CD, I wasn't expecting that. Bottom line is there's no better single disc of Motley Crue out there, buy it! It personally has left me wanting more which drove me to buy the Greatest Hits DVD a few hours ago. I'm actually gonna check that out right now and probably review it later on here, so look out for my review of that as well!
