Free Music Notes for Motley Crue - Greatest HitsFree Music Review: Convert Hit: 5 StarsThisd album introduced me to Motley Crue. I NEVER thought I would like them - but took a chance - and now Im a beleiver. If you dont think you'd like this - guess again. Put aside their image, what others say about them, etc. They are a GREAT rock and roll band, and this album gives you a taste of what they can do.
Free Music Review: An awesome compilation featuring almost every Crue classic Hit: 5 StarsThis is,hands down, the best introduction to the Kings of the 80's.Every song you need to hear to become a Crue fan is on here. You also get two new songs,"Bitter Pill" and "Enslaved".The tracklisting is similar to that of the long out-of print "Decade Of Decadence".You also get three songs from "Generation Swine",plus the two new songs I listed above. This album completely skips the Corabi-era songs, which is okay, because I am not a big fan of that era.My only complaint is that it is missing two essential classics,"Live Wire" and "Piece Of Your Action".You can't have a Motley concert without them,so why didn't they include them here?Anyway, get this album if you like party anthems, and if you like what you hear, get Motley Crue's Greatest Video Hits.It has most of these songs and more.
Free Music Review: My Rover wants to land on Mick Mars Hit: 5 StarsLook, I could sit here and discuss the merits of Tommy Lee's air-drum provoking grooves, Vince Neil's banshee shrieks, and Nikki Sixx's lyrics (which make the Declaration of Independence look like an index card with a booger on it)--but let's cut to the chase, g**dammit. Admit it--were it not for an unbridled stallion, a galloping steed, a sex-oozing mustang by the name of Mick "Horse" Mars (born Eggbert Rednutz), we wouldn't be discussing this band, much less alive. That's right- I believe had Eggbert Rednutz never been born and allowed to gallop across the 80's heavy metal plains, life as we know it would once again be reduced to the unicellular level. Why, you ask? Because he's faster than a speeding mullet, more powerful than a bowl of rice pudding, and able to leap to conclusions in a single bound. Learn.......ta' love it!
Free Music Review: The tital tell it all Hit: 5 StarsEvery track kicks ass it's pure rock n roll. I love it. I listen to it all the time.
Free Music Review: Their best collection. Hit: 4 StarsThough I actually like the old hits cd "Decade of Decadence" more, this is twice as good as the "Millennium Collection" that's out now. This is pretty much 17 tracks of classic "Crue". "Looks That Kill", "Girls Girls Girls", and "Dr. Feelgood", all on one disc. I also like that "Without You" is on here. Chronological order would have been nice. I also wish that the original "Shout at the Devil" was included. If you don't get this, I suggest either the "Dr. Feelgood", or "Shout at the Devil" albums. Both rock. Whichever you choose, it will go great with your "Def Leppard" and "Van Halen" cd's.
