Free Music Review: FINALLY...a live Madonna album (and a great DVD)!
Hit: 5 Stars

I don't understand why this CD is generating so many bad reviews. I agree that people who aren't big Madonna fans probably won't enjoy the documentary...however, why would a non-Madonna fan buy her film anyway?! That makes no sense to me! Anyway, anyone who loves the Material Girl will surely enjoy watching her latest documentary. However, the CD is the best part of this compilation. I've seen Madonna in concert several times, and the Re-Invention World Tour was by far my favorite experience. Live Madonna recordings are few and far between, and the fourteen songs on this CD are of incredible quality and make me want to get up and dance every time I listen to them! In addition to many of Madonna's greatest hits ("Vogue," "Like a Prayer," "Die Another Day"), the CD includes a great version of John Lennon's "Imagine," which was one of my favorite aspects of the Re-Invention Tour.

My only real complaint is that there aren't enough songs on this CD. I am especially disappointed that the version of "Material Girl" Madonna performed on tour isn't included on the CD, but oh well.

The bottom line is that this album is a must for all Madonna fans! I can't wait for the Confessions Tour album to come out in 2007.

Yeah! madonna is nominated for a Grammy for this, and it will be ok if she is only nominated: this is a cute video, about a mature, perfectionist artist, her family, her dancers and the drama behind her show...All quite interesting actually, you do not have to be a rabid Madonna fan to enjoy this...It is a cool documentary, period.

Free Music Review: "Reinvent Yourself"
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a behind-the-scenes look at Madonna and her dance troupe during her Re-Invention World Tour. It was just under two hours but it went by quickly. Madonna has matured a lot since Truth or Dare. She comes across as caring and fun to be with.

This documentary has many relevant messages like being responsible for your actions and your words as well as achieving more by learning more. She talks about religion, politics, relationships (romantic love versus true love) and family. There are particularly poignant moments when she talks intimately with the person behind the camera about her past and how much she's grown since then.

Madonna looks great during the whole film which alternates between black and white and color performances. The viewer gets to see footage from auditions, rehearsals, tapings, shows and some interactions with Guy Ritchie and their children. There are a few celebrity cameos by Micheal Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow and Iggy pop.

I really enjoyed watching this video and felt inspired throughout it. It you're a fan of Madonna or are just a bit curious I think you'll enjoy this documentary. Reviewed by M. E. Wood.

Free Music Review: Madonna The Queen of Pop
Hit: 5 Stars

I thought the documentury was very interesting. I always thought of Madonna as a Mean Diva. But really she just honest and so loving. She has a big heart. Seeing all those live footage of the songs was amazing. I have never seen her live, ever. She can put on a show. And the girl can sing. I can't stop listening to the CD which is in fact her first LIVE ALBUM. My favorites on this is VOUGE, MUSIC, NOBODY KNOWS ME, LIKE A PRAYER, and the Live Version of MOTHER AND FATHER is soooooo much better then the one on the American Life album she gives it more meaning and sings it with more vocal then i have heard in a long while. And who doesn't Love to hear HOLIDAY, and the beats were so much heavier on this track it just makes you want to dance and sing along. Madonna has been around for so long now and she deserves more.. Her 2 kids are so CUTE!!!! and Guy is a loving husband but kinda young for his age..LOL And Madonna really gives credits to the Dancers to helping her give a good no make that a great show. This CD and DVD collection is so unique and it's worth your need of entertainment.

Free Music Review: I am going to tell you a secret: First Aired On Cable
Hit: 5 Stars

The revention tour/documentary first aired on cable MTV and VH1
I watched it and loved it. It seems Madonna has done some editing and deleting in the documentary, but that is exactly what it is a documentary. Her revention was two years ago and I am trying remember the concert from start to finish but I can't. Now if you want to see the revention tour ask Lady M to put the tour on DVD let's try shall we: Madonna can you put the revention tour on DVD? (and hopefully the blonde ambition tour to on DVD). I like both documentaries it has shown a maturiy in herself and her music and (once in a while the classic madonna) comes out. Can you be honest and say you would want the same documentary fourteen years later NO because she is always growing and changing. You will pay some money for the DVD/CD but what about her confession tour: front seats near the catwalk mmmmmmmmm. You will get your money's worth satisfied or not.
