this album is excellent, it just flows great. I received this album as a gift in 1988 because I loved madonna's music videos so much as a little kid about 5 years old that time and I still listen to it many years later as a 21 year old. It is truly a masterpiece that puts me in such a great mood. I love all the songs on it, I really do. This is the album that made her as big as michael jackson, both of them are the best actually. In fact like a virgin reminds me a little bit of billie jean and material girl reminds me a little bit of the jacksons can you feel it. I am very pleased with the "Like a virgin" remaster. The songs sound great. Now I am a casual Madonna fan, but from what I can tell the two remixes "Like a Virgin" extended dance mix and "Material Girl" Extended Dance remix are from the 80's. Now this would have been cool to me, to throw "Into The Groove" on the remaster, but hey, it's on the "Immaculate Collection." This CD is great from start to finish and I especially enjoy "Angel," "Stay" and "Over and Over." Great sophomore CD from Madonna!Free Music Review: Like a master piece!

This album is my second favorite Madonna album (the first being Madonna) this album is digitally remastered and it sounds perfect! standout tracks include Material girl, like a virgin, pretender, angel, dress you up, stay, included on this album are two extended dance remixes of Material girl and like a virgin. This album should be right next to Michael Jackson's Thriller album in your cd collection - this is a definitive album of the '80s. This is the album that made Madonna a star, and showed that she was here to stay. The song "Like a Virgin" was #1 on the pop charts for 6 weeks, while "Material Girl" is the song that gave her the nickname. All the songs on here are good, classic '80s rockers.
