Great CD + DVD collection for all of the Madge fans. I actually regret not seeing the tour when she came to Chicago because Madonna is a great performer! Anyway, the tour is in support of her album Hard Candy and divided into four acts: Pimp, Old Skool, Gypsy, & Rave. Madonna and her dancers seemed to have so much fun on stage (if they weren't, they're really convincing!). The stage has two giant M's on both sides, 5 jumbo LCD screens, and a runway very reminiscent of the The Confessions Tour - Live from London (CD+DVD) with an LCD curtain. Here's the setlist:
DVD
ACT 1: Pimp
1. The Sweet Machine (Video Intro)
2. Candy Shop - Madonna emerges from a rotating LCD screen on a throne (very similar to the Hard Candy Promo Tour performance)
3. The Beat Goes On
4. Human Nature - Madge sings this classic with backdrops of Britney Spears trapped in an elevator
5. Vogue - a great performance!! The song is mashed to the backing music of 4 Minutes as Madonna sings this anthem for the first time! Madonna and her dancers complete a dance routine at the end of the runway.
6. Die Another Day (Remix) [Video Interlude] - a fast pace remix of DAD that features dancers on stage in a boxing ring (sound effects are from Mortal Kombat: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
ACT 2: Old Skool - Madonna and her dancers are dressed in old skool street atire
7. Into The Groove - Madonna and her dancers are double dutch jumping rope to this classic. Madge reinvents the song by mashing it up with Jump on it by Apache, Double Dutch Bus, and Toop Toop.
8. Heartbeat - Madge peforms as a puppet while her dancers guide her. Also the runway reveals a conveyor belt!
9. Borderline (Rock Version) - Madge plays one of her early singles on an electric guitar and performs with her band!
10. She's Not Me - hilarious performance with backdrops from her earlier videos.
11. Music - great performance as the song is mashed with Put Your Hands Up for Detroit.
12. Rain (Remix) [Video Interlude] - the song is mashed with Here Comes The Rain Again/Paint A Rumour with a video of a pixie finding shed in rain. Also features two Japanese dancers dressed in kimono and hakama!
ACT 3: Gypsy
13. Devil Wouldn't Recognize You - Madge wears a black cloak and performs on top of a piano while the video curtain displays water and rain pouring.
14. Spanish Lesson - cool performance with a some flamenco dance moves.
15. Miles Away - my favorite song from Hard Candy. Madonna plays the guitar and sing with backdrops of different countries.
16. La Isla Bonita - this performance incorporates a Ukranian folk band called the Kolpakov Trio with a song called Lela Pala Tute.
17. Doli Doli - the Kolpakov Trio performs while Madge and her dancers take shots.
18. You Must Love Me - Madonna sings while the Kolpakov Trio performs with her
19. Don't Cry For Me Argentina - an Argentina only performance and a great addition to the setlist! The Buenos Aires crowd goes wild!!
20. Get Stupid (Video Interlude) - an interlude very reminiscent of the Sorry (Remix) video interlude from the Confessions Tour.
ACT 4: Rave
21. 4 Minutes - Madge performs a virtual duet with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake while sporting football chest pads. The performance is similar to the Hard Candy Promo Tour.
22. Like A Prayer - a great high energy paced performance of another classic! The song is remixed with a trance feel!
23. Ray of Light - the performance was okay for me. Similar to the Confessions Tour performance.
24. Like A Virgin (Request song) - Madge sings a capella with the crowd.
25. Hung Up (Rock Version) - Madonna performs this hit on the electric guitar similar to the Hard Candy Promo Tour.
26. Give It 2 Me (Jody Den Broeder Remix) - I was actually surprised that she performed a dance remix of this song! Great performance and great way to end the show!!

The Sticky & Sweet Tour CD/DVD Poster

Madonna's most recent stage extravaganza, the 'Sticky & Sweet' concert, will be released on April 6th, it was announced today by Live Nation, the world s largest live music company. 'Sticky & Sweet', which was produced by Live Nation, was the most successful tour by a solo artist in history and was seen by over 3.5 million fans in 32 countries around the world.

The show, which will be distributed by Warner Bros Records, will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray and CD and will include many of the Material Girls hits from the course of her unprecedented career including, '4 Minutes,' 'Like a Prayer, 'Hung Up' and 'Ray of Light'. Filmed in Buenos Aires, over four days to a crowd exceeding 256,000 fans, the concert also includes a show stopping moment when Madonna performs a historic 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina' to a thunderous audience response from her Argentine fans. Also included are several hits from the
multi-Grammy winners most recent CD 'Hard Candy' which debuted at No. 1 in 37 countries.
The DVD also includes 30 minutes of exclusive footage filmed behind the scenes during the course of the tour.
