Free Music Review: This Bluesman Knows

I just ordered my 4th, or, 5th copy of this CD.
(I wore the others out with constant play and rotation in my system(s).
I feel as though this project was some kind of gift to humanity, as no other project came out so powerfully, just to disappear shortly thereafter.
I sat on the tour`bus`with these guys in 1990 after a show in Austin Texas, (The Backroom), before I hit the stage, and, I felt as if it was surreal, twilight Zone-ish, these guys were amazing.
I had no idea that this would be their first, and, final Effort.
I guess after this level of perfection, there really is nothing else for these men to say as a group.
An amazing array of talent, and, depth of feeling.
A world class CD project, too bad for us that they are gone, maybe I should record a tribute to these guys, note, for note, from a bluesman who tells the truth, and, knows true pain when he hears it.
This is the real deal, no doubt.

Disregard the negative drivel from other folks regarding this cd. Powerful lyrics. Solid FUNK! And, the guitar and percussion elements are second to none. Every time I listen to this cd I am startled at the fact that this band didn't do more.
This cd is huge and should not be overlooked.

First of all I agree with Stig Five "stigstiggy" when he says the album is boring and forgettable. I couldn't even sit through 3 bars of each track. Out of the 11 songs I only felt that 2 of them were even worth listening to. Good effort but (yawning) try again.Free Music Review: Maggie's Yawn

I've listened to this about 4 times over the past 13 years and today will be my last as I'll be tossing the CD in the garbage and using the case for a data CD. The music is completely forgetable, the lyrics simplistic. Not one song is even remotely memorable. As soon as it's over it's like I didn't even listen to it. Two stars is too high a rating but it doesn't deserve the worst rating either, it's just pain old boring...Free Music Review: Robi fan

I've been after every Song ever writen by Robi Draco Rosa. it's not right to claim that this is his best album but its darn near close every song is great they all have a nice feel to them althought i would consider them to be awsome Frio his solo album had a bit more flavor i'm not putting the album down i love it it's a great album but considering the tones and the lyrics of the cd some song feel a bit out of date yet frio seem to always be on track no mater how old it is i love Robis work i just wished they made a compelation Disk containg all his work in one album cheers to all the robi fans and much love to you all
