I saw Mamma Mia in the movies and then had to buy the music CD right away. I am familiar with all the main actors, including Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnon and Colin Firth but was not aware they were such entertaining singers as well. If you are a fan of ABBA you of course will love this CD but even if you are not, I think you will find it very enjoyable. The tunes are really catchy. Also, the movie is a very enjoyable musical. Meryl Streep can do anything and the men are quite handsome! Next step for me will be to see Mamma Mia on Broadway.Free Music Review: Mamma Mia Soundtrack is finally here, and is well worth the wait

I received this from Amazon today, I couldn't be more happy with this.. This is a first rate production.. It's every bit as good as the broadway cast album.. The singing is first rate.. Everyone sounds like professional singers.. Love Meryl, Pierce, Collin.. Can't wait to see this movie next week. Why didn't they put waterloo on it, or what about the song from the broadway soundtrack "under attack".. would have loved that one too. But, still a keeper. I Keep listening to it.
The sound quality is astounding.

If you loved the play, you will love the scenery in the movie and Meryl Streep and this CD will keep you singing until the DVD comes out. This is happy music and you just can't help singing and dancing to the music. I put it on when I have chores to do and it makes the chores go easier. We used it while making dinner for 50 people, all the chopping and cutting of veggies and we sang to the music and the chores seemed to go by faster. My ride to work goes smoother when I play this CD and makes you smile! I loved it.Free Music Review: Mamma Mia makes you feel good!

We have seen the movie about 5 times and everytime we enjoy it. It is an upbeat movie with great music. We had to get the CD so we could play the music when we wanted to. Actually, the CD Soundtrack sounds enhanced and makes you feel like dancing around the house. Some of the tunes are stuck in our head and we sometimes catch ourselves humming them during the day. First saw the stage show when it opened in London. Will not tell how many times I've seen it since (somewhat embarassing). Got the film CD today and it is quite good. There are enough new tweaks to keep it fresh and it certainly makes me want to see the film more than I did. Very surprised at how well Meryl Streep sings, and I am not on the "bash Pierce" bandwagon. He does quite well on "When All Is Said And Done." Heck, Bob Dylan can't sing and no one complains. This is a great summer listen.
