Free Music Notes for Mana: MTV UnpluggedFree Music Review: Great Unplugged Album Hit: 5 Stars
What can I say? This is just a great live album from a great band. The band sounds great live too. Everything, from voices, to choruses, to arrangements sounds great. There are live versions of many of the band's hits as well as some new songs like Jose Alfredo Jimenez's "Te Solte La Rienda" and Juan Gabriel's "Se Me Olvido Otra Vez". These two songs became big hits too. We also get live versions of past hits like "En El Muelle De San Blas", "Vivir Sin Aire", and "Oye Mi Amor". All I have to say about this album is that it's simply great as everything this band does. I totally recommend it.
Free Music Review: Brilliant lyrics, beat, and sound Hit: 5 Stars
I am skeptical about those who give 5 stars to products, but Mana's unplugged CD deserves them. They combine brilliant lyrics with music that makes you feel what they are trying to say. Their songs all have different styles and beats, each with its own mood. Their song Vivir Sin Ti is the most brilliant mix of sound and lyric that I have ever heard- you fall in love just listening to it. This CD receives my highest recommendation as not only a fun pop CD, but also a highly artistic and well done mix as well. Overall- brilliant.
Free Music Review: No me olvides Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is one of Mana's best. If you like Spanish rock, this is the way to go. It has rhythm and beat; it is definitely something you can dance and sing to. On the other hand, there are a few songs that are great for easy listening.
I recommend this CD to anyone and everyone. Even if you're not a rock fanatic, you will love it. And who said you have to speak Spanish to listen to Spanish music? Go for it! But don't forget to listen to song #13, it is the type of song everyone likes.
Free Music Review: Better every time Hit: 5 Stars
Let's talk about what they ARE. Mana is the best band current. On this CD they don't back off- they do all of their most socially relevant songs -- about the burning of the rain forest, teenage pregnancy, street children, political prisoners, yet also include their most romantic ballads about lost love. I don't see how anyonone can complain about this album. Plus, it's live ( if not COMPLETELY " unplugged", it does include a lot of acoustics) Sorry-- it is a MUST have.
Free Music Review: Mana is the best band in the world. Hit: 5 Stars
The worlds greatist band has realy out done themselves with this album. In this one you get true sense of the bands great music talent, not that you can't tell it in there other albums, it's just that you can hear it on this album as classic Mana songs are brought to life in ways that are'nt heard on there orignal cd's. After hearing this album you will more then likly become a Mana fan if you already are'nt one and will also want to buy there other albums, which I highly recommened.
