Free Music Review: Mana Rocks!
Hit: 5 Stars

Mana continues to be one of the most important Latin American rock bands. Although this album has been criticized by some as being "soft" & not up to par w/ previous albums, I disagree. Personally, I think the album contains great lyrics and music. There's a wide variety of ryhthms, yet the band maintains its signature style. Songs like "Justicia, Tierra y Libertad" show that Mana hasn't lost its edge. While songs like Sabanas Frias show the band's creative flare; it's an awesome mix of pop rock & salsa. If you don't already own it;you should definitely buy it. It's one of those albums you can't get tired of, but you have to really listen to appreciate. As a side note, I think the lyrics to Eres Mi Religion are very beautiful and poetic. The DVD is pretty cool too.

Free Music Review: La Revolucion Sigue!
Hit: 5 Stars

Clearly Mana is one of the top rock bands of Mexico. Revolucion de Amor is an excellent CD which doesn't deserve anything less than 4 stars from reviewers. It seems that some take this band for granted. You shouldn't because once they're done rockin' the music scene will be missing something that no other band will be able to complete. There simply isn't another band that plays the style of music that Mana does. The bottom line is that this group and this CD can't be everything to everyone. If the Mana sound hasn't changed dramatically (there has been an evolution of the band - listen to the CD Falta Amor and then listen to Suenos Liquidos and it is obvious) over the years its because they are giving their fans what they want to hear.

Free Music Review: mariposa traicionera
Hit: 5 Stars

Just want to say that I don't know much Spanish, but I do tune into Spanish radio stations cos' I love the sound. I think it was around 12/03 that I kept hearing Mariposa Traicionera on the radio. The name of the song was not announced or maybe it was but I just missed it. The song had this hold on me and I just had to find out who the singer was. Searched the internet with just the keyword "mariposa" and after much work, I finally discovered this Mana band. Have bought a few of their albums since, and am still going through the letras with my Spanish Dictionary! Other songs of the band I like are for example, Te llore un rio, Oye mi amor, Como te deseo,Te llevare al cielo, Eres mi religion. Well, I could go on and on...

Free Music Review: Fabulous
Hit: 5 Stars

Unlike others that have reviewed this CD, I cannot say I know all of Mana's other work. I cannot say that I am knowledgeable in latino rock. I can, however, say that I know good music when I hear it, and I am very impressed with their work on Revolucion de Amor. In working in a popular Mexican restaurant in my area (the only white girl, mind you) my friends there opened my eyes to some of the most amazing music I have ever heard. I bought this CD 2 weeks ago and it has not left my CD player once. Angel de Amor is such a great song, and the reason I bought the CD in the first place, but I was blown away by almost the whole album, especially "Eres Mi Religion." Keep the great tunes flowin'!!!

Free Music Review: E X C E L E N T!
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD is a masterpiece. It's such a good mix of love songs and songs that make a statement. Although Maná's past CD were outstanding, this album really shows the band's ability to mature as musicians and as song writters. My top two favorite ones are "Pobre Juan" and "Mariposa Traicionera". I do not necessarily agree with all of their viewpoints, I think they've made a genuine attempt at opening some eyes and getting people to talk about issues that are still a major problem in Latin America; however, Maná is a sign of the good things happening in my beautiful México. ¡Viva Maná!
