I bought this CD looking for a Johnny Mathis song I had heard was on it. There is one of Johnny's on there, but not the one I wanted.
However, I am very pleased with my purchase. I am not generally a Mannheim Steamroller fan but I enjoyed this CD as it is more calm, relaxing music, which I prefer. I am not a fan of their more upbeat tempo music, so I guess if that is what you are looking for, this would not be the cd for you. Thank you Mannheim Steamroller for music I have truly enjoyed this past Christmas season and am still enjoying!

For all of you Mannheim fans out there...yippee!! As you know there is finally a new Christmas album. It is very good, as is expected. If you haven't gotten it, yet, what are you waiting for?!?! This album has great variety and beautiful music in the Mannheim style. The Christmas Lullaby (from Christmas in the Aire) is brought back, this time with lyrics sung beautifully by Olivia Newton-John. You will not be disappointed. If you have the other Mannheim Christmas albums, then you will definitely want to add this one to your collection.Free Music Review: A Christmas must have!

Each year I purchase a few new Christmas CD's. This year I got Manheim Steamroller and another nameless one. I found out that I can always count on Manheim Steamroller to put out an awesome CD....every time! The music is so inspiring and puts you in the Christmas spirit. On the other hand, the nameless one was terrible, although a very popular group. It was so bad that I called my Mom and told her. She immediately took the ones back that she had purchased for gifts!!!Free Music Review: Christmas Songs!

This is the original Christmas album they did that was revolutionary, contemporary music, and the follow-up, "Fresh Aire Christmas," is a masterpiece. It shook up my musical thinking and made me open my ears to newer interpretations.
A great change to that standards you hear all day long on the radio. I think those must be on a looped tape! So, this will lighten your heart and fill your senses with new views and arrangements.

for a new Mannhemn Steamroller Christmas CD. And when will they get around to making a CD of their concerts, which include the Star Trek Theme from the original series?
This is a top notch CD for the Christmas standards. Johnny Mathis sounds more mature but not "old". He was a perfect choice. When my husband asked for Christmas music on 12/24 last year, he wanted "Il Divo"--this year he asked for that "Anaheim Steamroller" thing!
