I own many Christmas CDs, including all of the Manheim Steamroller CDs. This is by far the best one out of them all. The variation among the songs is incredible. Some songs get you in a bright, fun, dancing mood with a fast tempo, and a cool rythym and beat, while others bring you back to a serene state as they remind you of the true meaning of Christmas. It's already a classic- I listen to this CD year round, it's that good. The samples only tell you half the story. The quality of the CD makes the songs much better. This is the best Christmas CD. Fresh Aire Christmas by Mannheim Steamroller is my absolute favorite holiday album of all-time. I have been listening to this gem for two decades now, I love popping this cd in when I am decorating the tree or wrapping presents. Carol of the Bells, Hark! the Herald Angels Sing, Little Drummer Boy, and Greensleeves (What Child Is This?) are some of the standouts. This is an instrumental album which I don't normally like but this one is an expection. I love, love, love this album, I HIGHLY recommend it!!Free Music Review: One of My All-Time Favorites!

I bought this when it first came out on cassette, and am happy it's now on CD because I played the heck of the cassette ... and the CD, for that matter. I've given this as a present for years to American and European friends, and everyone has been pleased. My favorite tracks are "veni, veni" (I've been known to sing along), "Greensleves" and "Carol of the Bells," Very melodic, very uplifting, these are melodies I can hear over and over again and not get tired of them. I listen to this music throughout the year :) I'm not embarassed to admit this either. I also must say that while I was pregnant I would put this music on and put the earphones to my belly for my daughter to hear, she loves this cassette to this very day.I have the first one on LP and I didn't think they could do any better but they did. There is so much music here that is such a compliment to the Holiday Season if you decide to purchase this you will not be dissapointed.

As an owner of all of Manheim Steamroller's Christmas CDs, I always find myself listening to this one the most. Every track is pure Christmas joy! From the thunderous "Hark! The Herald Angels" and "Carol Of The Bells" to the Gregorian "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" to the beautiful strings on "Greensleeves", "Traditions Of Christmas" and "O Holy Night"; this CD is magic. A more beautiful collection of Christmas songs I have yet to find.
