The first time I heard mannheim Steamroller, I thought it was nearly sacriligious, but then i listened again and I realized that what Chip & Co. do is make a classic new again. My holiday music runs the gamut from Johnny Mathis to the GRP collections to Mannheim, but All I need to do to get festive again when holday blues get me down is crank up some Christmas in teh Aire.Free Music Review: Best Album

I read one review that said 2 stars... I'm assuming they were "under the influence" when they wrote that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though, no matter how cruddy. I LOVE this album. As a musician and someone who knows a little bit about sound engineering, it a treasure I enjoy every Christmas and sometimes a little into January! = )Free Music Review: Chip's done it again!

Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said? "Joy To The World", and "Los Peces En El Rio" just makes me want to bust a move! I love all of Mannheim Steamroller's music, e.g. the Fresh Aire 1-7(and now 8) series, Chip Davis'(main composer) solo album "Impressions", and even the Chip Davis Day Parts series.Free Music Review: Christmas Steamroller

Now, having almost all of the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas CD's, I am extremely glad that I added this one to my collection. The innovativeness in the carols and Christmas songs make this CD truly remarkable. The first time I heard this album was over a store's PA system. It was the first time I had HEARD of Mannheim Steamroller. I fell in love with the music, and had to have the album. I bought it that same day!!! Now I have 3 of the Christmas albums, and intend to purchase some of their other albums as well. I think they are GREAT!!
