Free Music Review: Pure Choir Boy Vocals and Quality Tunes go hand in hand

This album has a pleathora of quality ballads and uptempo salsa floor burners all delivered with the heartfelt expressive vocals of Marc Anthony.
This album truly does catch Marc Anthony at his peak and would be a perfect introduction to this fine artist.
I respect Marc Anthony's talent and i enjoy this album but i do find his vocals a bit choir boy like and his delivery a bit too emotional.
In other words, i find his tone of voice to be too pure and he also comes across in his delivery as someone who's begging or pleading too much.
Don't get me wrong now because i think he's a great expressive singer but i just feel that he sounds too sensitive.
Now i like romantic vocals but i think Marc Anthony has too much of a good thing.
Now i of course love Hector Lavoe and the phenomenal work he did with Wille Colon so i use Hecotr Lavoe as the singer to compare all latin american singers with because Hector Lavoe had the perfect artistic style.
He didn't overdo his romanticism or any of his emotions in his vocal delivery.
He simply nailed it on the money everytime plus his fania all star band led by the great Willie Colon is still the baddest puerto rican band ever.
This album here is a great album but i just find Marc Anthony's vocals to get on my nerve's after a while.
Anyway, get this if you like that kind of style and i'll keep listening to the great albums "La Voz" and "Lo Mato" from the great Hector Lavoe/Willie colon.
Who agrees with me that Marc Anthony pours it on a bit too much and if you don't think so then have you heard Hector Lavoe?
